How can there be a 1080p comparison when console versions are sub hd?
edit: Dam PC version looks so clear. Anyways will be getting this on a Steam discount not worth 60usd imo.
Valve is one of the last remaining AAA devs that actually allow the enduser to do mods.
Due to current trend where devs want to control the user, release day DLC, release yearly rehashes. Devs dont want users to be able to extend the lives of their games.
This also eliminates any sort of creativity, which is why all we see today are stagnation and no new ideas.
No wonder the competition is crying with Steam constantly innovating.
I7 980x oc'ed to 4.5ghz
GTX 580SLI
6 Gigs ram
80gig ssd intel
2tb back updrive
300gb 10k rpm raptor gaming drive
HAF 932 completely modified by high intake fans
3 X 24inch monitors resolution = 5760*1080
list goes on
PC gaming elitest :P lol
Q6600 is legendary man, Perhaps one of the best pieces of hardware released in the last decade, its reasonabally priced at launch and still performs like a champ specially when OC'd past 3ghz.. That CPU is good for any game out even today.
Really since when did we need 1500usd rigs to play Blizzard games? I would put it more like 500-600usd, Lol even for demanding games the same rig is more then enough. Unless you are talking about the people who get butt raped at the hands of companies like Alienware.
100usd -150usd for a GPU if you already have a 2-3yr old PC.
True lol, expect it to be on discount on Steam in the next 2-3months just like the other THQ games.
I remember buying Metro 2033 for 23usd 3months after launch great price for that game.
Ill wait for a Steam discount for this one.
@theblind
Why compare PC games from 2006-07 when the gap was obviously not as big as it is today.
Heres a link from Stalker COP Mod Atomosfear, let me know if any console game of today has anything close to this while being open world:

Or let us know when a racing game on console runs like this:

Dont really need a Wii when you can play all its game on a PC in 1080p lol.
I would rather buy a PC for all the PC exclusives, all the superior multiplats, all the WII games + emulation of all older consoles. Other then that i might buy a PS3 for Sony exclusives.
Overall owning a midrange PC makes an execellent Wii Replacement.
Sales wise its going to be hard, Quality wise its been beaten long back by games like TF2, L4D, Crysis 1, BC2.
To render that many units a console will just throw a fit and die.
@Ranshak
I personally bought Bioshock 2 for 14usd on Steam after 3months of launch. Paying 50usd for most games on launch is an overkill imo.
Only games i will be buying full priced this year are Witcher 2 which i bought for 45usd and portal 2 which i got for 40usd due to buying a bundle with a friend.
If recent history is any indication, then they hate Steam. Noticed how game releases are or pre orders are delayed on Steam.
They rather try sell games from their own shitty store. If they are gonna sell from their store they should atleast bring it to the point where people will atleast consider buying.
Retail can throw a fit and die :P
Yep, i dont like any of their games to begin with. I liked Bioware but after this nvm.. I rather buy an RPG like Witcher instead of wasting my time on this.
Agreed its a day one buy, unlike most of the shooters coming out these days which are best reserved for Steam discounts.
Well they dont want their game to sell, which is why they will do everything to ensure just that.
Its driver issues probably, GTX 460 is a solid card.
My smaller brother has 5870 CF he had not updated drivers in the last few months, yesterday we tried Crysis 2 demo on his PC. the game was running in slide shows at max settings. One driver update and everything got fixed.
DA2 is a new game, wait for a driver update things will get fixed.
Having an Andriod DS3 emulator via bluetooth would be awesome.
I enjoyed the game man, as the others have said you would be hard to find a better deal for 10usd. Thats indie game pricing for crying out loud lol.
