Ever tried playing on 3 screens. Unlike Console gaming PC gaming isnt limited to just 1 screen. This GPU is perfect for Multiscreen gaming.
Add in the fact that it will drive prices down for other hardware its a win win situation.
Not really for a highend gpu. Meanwhile if you want to go for a GPU that can handle any game out today in 1080p GTX460 is great. This releasing might mean another price drop for that mid range part.

Sure you can. However why compare 6yr old hardware against the latest and greatest. To beat the PS3 or the 360 by a significant margin you only need a 80usd GPU.

Enjoy another Subhd COD lol. Its not like people dont cheat on console either. In fact with Dedicated servers people can be quickly banned and booted for cheating, good luck being at the Mercy of Sony or Microsoft to resolve a problem when the same happen on console.
30Million is the number of paying registered users, steam confirmed this few weeks ago. Just like XBox 360 has about 40million users, yet you hardly ever get to see more then 2.5million online at the same time.
Steam Alone this weekend had 3.1million users online at the same time. The figure easily rivals XBL or PSN. Now consider PC users dont only go online through steam. There are many other networks out there.

i wouldnt have bought it otherwise. No way paying 59usd for a COD game. Its not the question of affording, i personally have afew PC gaming rigs. One of which is very high end. I simply refuse to support a trend where games are priced at 59usd for PC, another reason why i dont game on console.
Been a while since i will be buying a COD game, last one i bought was MW1. Bought this one at 45usd from Direct2drive. Not paying more then 49usd for a game.
Eh we already got the Mouse, its the most accurate device out there. Let us know when something that can top the Mouse comes out.

There is no way consoles are getting upgradable parts. Reason being PC is used in many ways, not just gaming. When parts such as:
CPUs, RAM, Motherboards ETC are used by 100's of million of people around the world. This helps absorb the cost of development for new tech.
If such parts would be developed for consoles they would have to be specifically for that console, hence the user base would be very small in comparison. i...
Dont think it ever went down for it to make a come back. More and more of my friends are going PC gaming. Personally been a PC gamer since 1994.
Lol KZ3 is no match for multiplats on PC. Let alone Crysis or Crysis 2.

Maybe we should be blaming the greedy developers, It is true Consoles have been holding the industry back this generation.

Was my first try few days back to get PS2 emulator running. Took me about 10-20mins to configure everything.
Been playing GOW 1 in 1080p 50-60fps. Gonna play GOW2 later all with the PS3s very own DS3. Sure i agree its cool Sony can make the remakes, but who even knows Sony will remake your favorite game. PS2 had over 1000 games launched, Sony will at most be only remaking a handful of them.
PCSX2 problem solved. HD remakes of your PS2 games for free. No need to wait until Sony makes up their mind.
Gosh looks like ppl dont like free solutions and rather pay for them lol.
True lol with valves constant support, i see no reason to buy COD BO. Infact TF2 and L4d2 are still my favorite shooters. There justing anything out there that can beat those 2.

PC gaming hardware is required element to the sustainance of this entire industry. Hoping that no one cares for it is like hoping for the death of the industry? Would any gamer PC or Console really want that? You honestly dont want Microsoft or Sony to develop a GPU. It would cost them Billions of...

In SP i seen my smaller kid bro use autoaim lol That was when he was playing MW2 on his PS3. Once he became 10 i introduced him to PC gaming, made him a rig. He wont touch an FPS on console any more. Any game for that matter lol. His PS3 has been collecting dust now since the last 6months.
Many of the PS2 games are already working on PC with DS3 in HD. I wonder why anyone would celebrate paying for them again.

I am currently playing GOW1 and soon going to be playing Gow2 in 1080p on PC using a DS3. All for free. I dont need to pay sony to upres my old games for me.

this is for the absulote high end, who want to be playing on 3 screens and 3D etc. To beat the console experience an 80usd gpu is more then enough.
Hence if you want to be making a comparison of consoles then compare them against a 80usd gpu which is still far more powerful then consoles. Comparing 6yr old tech against the latest and greatest is just not right.
