They need to take a lesson from Valve. Make a good game then support it. Releasing a new first person shooter every few months will just burn the genre.
Counter Strike a 10 year old game is still selling 100,000units a month.
I would say Ram along with GPU. Entry level GPUs of today @100usd run circles around current consoles.

Dunno man i kind of liked the approval system. However i hope the game itself is not dumbed down. Specially the PC version, Since the original release on PC was more about strategy and Planning. While the console version was more like hack and slash. I hope the PC version retains its gameplay.
The Console version is not even a shadow of a game that it is on the PC. specially this game requires ultra fast reflexes only possible on mouse keyboard. Get it on PC when Steam has a discount, later you might not want to invest in another FPS again.

Dude if you have havent played TF2, you dont know what you are missing, its quite possibly the best FPS game out there.
Rather just make the game for PC. Which is already happening with most devs anyways. Its just the Sony or Microsoft funded games that dont make it to PC.
Releasing emulators will only up the hardware requirements. PC has a huge DD community releasing games on platforms like steam result in many advantages:
No packaging costs,
No retailer margin,
No Distribution cost,
No royalties since PC is an open platform,
Huge gaming commun...
Support and development for this game is Epic. Best FPS out there IMO. Specially when considered you get dedicated servers, free maps(what other companies charge for as DLC), MODs.

Thats the point, anything on console which pushes hardware runs on crap graphics, same goes for MAG.
To play Wii games in HD i would atleast recommend at very fast dual core cpu something in access of 3ghz. Its taken ages for Dolphin emulation on PC to get upto speed. Lets wait and see how it turns out on the PS3. Even if it did happen, there are no gaurantees games will run at 100% speed or how long it will take to get those games upto speed if ever.
Youd be better of investing in a midrange PC then enjoying all your multiplat games in full HD and getting dolphin along with...

You do realise the sort of specs needed on PC to emulate Wii in HD. I dont think it will be possible for the PS3 to Emulate the Wii in HD.

Lets hope the PC version doesnt get compromised due to Consoles.
Id take the PC, and retain Backward compatibility with all my existing games, not to mention the Mods and cheaper games.
It takes years before emulation can be perfected.
I can currently play about 95% of the ps2 games on my PC. They run in 1080p @60fps. However there is no sign of 360 or PS3 emulation yet. Hence it probably is a long way and perfecting it will take even longer.
Its insane the gaming library now present on the PC. Includes Arcade, All consoles upto PS2 and Wii. Then you have the PCs own library which is massive as well.
They really dont care about giving people backward compatibility, how else will they sell HD remakes? Not to mention they wont like you playing your old games, they would rather prefer you went out bought new games for the new console, so they can recover money lost on hardware sales.
PC is where the BC is at.
1. Cross region Starcraft 2 would be good but probably wont happen.
2. Why would any of us want a xbox 360 built into our PC gaming rigs? Most Xbox exclusives are already on the PC. The ones that arent really dont matter lol.
3. We can only hope Games for windows disappears, on the bright side most Devs have dropped support for GFWL.

Dragon age 2 looks like its been dumbed down for the masses, have to wait and see, i would like to see gameplay on the PC version before making a final opinion on the game.
Witcher 2 certainly looks like the RPG for 2011.
Aside the fact its a rehashed game, how is it broken on PC?
