Cell isnt so powerful, RSX + Cell can barely play most PS3 exclusives in 720p @ 30fps, thats not powerful by any means.
Its the trend this gen. They first increased prices of games. Later release games with a good chunk of stuff stripped out. Anyways gonna buy the game when a Goty edition or whatever is on discount on Steam.
Its definetly not a good thing. Console gamers must resist it just the way PC gamers resisted buying Ubisoft games.

Consoles themselves are a DRM. How are PS2 games working on the PS3 slim?
At least with PC people can make a library today for cheap and look forward to play them few years later. With console no gaurantee PS3 games will work with PS4, we can only make assumptions and hope. With the current trend of HD remakes i see a slim chance of BC happening.
They throw in this garbage to test market on the PC, if it goes a success they may follow up on consoles.
If more people are going to be buying the console just for piracy, i dont see how it will help Sonys business model. Sony makes money on software sold. Money made on the console itself is very small. Also people who buy the console just for pirating wont amuse the developers.
Lol if going from Mouse keyboard to control pad was not enough, this takes the cake. FPS on Kinect can only happen in a gimped way.
Dam will be funny if USB support is taken away. First they take away other OS, then backward compatibility now USB support. Oh well Console gamers always are at the mercy of these companys.

That's because sanandreas was realesed before the time xbox controller became recognised on pc. Any game from this gen will work fine.
Feels like playing on a PS3 with steroids as if it just has so much more muscle while playing the game with everything running in 1080p 60fps and a ton of AA.
ull just need to resync it with your PS3. no reason why it wont work with your PS3.

I played WOW and paid sub for it. Paying sub to go online lol and paying to play a mmo are 2 different things. Associating the 2 of those is ignorant at best.
Have fun paying to go online then again to actually play the game.

Having to pay for something which should be free @60usd or 40usd its still not right, no matter how you slice it. Steam is free so is PSN, why is this charged?
200,000 units sold for an indie title in just 4 months is amazing. I bet with few more sales this game will probably cross 500,000 mark just like Torchlight.
Haha FPS on a control pad is a joke. People who havent tried Keyboard mouse have no idea what they are missing.
I personally tried to play left4dead 2 on PC with a control pad just for the fun of it. Aiming with a control pad seemed like a chore. Just doesnt occur to me how anyone can enjoy an FPS with a controller.
Actually it is, recently more and more of my friends are jumping to PC gaming.
First because all of us are in the mid 20's age, second because PC gaming is just so cost effective. We hardly buy games for consoles anymore aside the few exclusives a year.
PS3 gamers are lucky this isnt some FPS shooter, otherwise we would be hearing PS3 gamers crying HAX when going up against PC gamers.
Mouse/KB combo would slaughter the control pad. PS3 gamers should hope crossgame play doesnt make it through in some FPS released by Valve.
