I don't know if you've read the graphic novels (Fables) that inspired the game, but, you ain't seen nothing yet! They've barely scratched the surface of the source material.

I guess we all die a little bit everyday!?! lol Forbes is predicting cardiac arrest when it seems to be natural causes after a long productive life...closely followed by reincarnation.

Agreed. That game was surprisingly good...and the story was a cool extension of what we were familiar with. Unfortunately, this seems like the typical movie tie-in game meant to cash in on whatever hype there might be.

While I agree that the grind is real, I also still think that they do F2P very well. The "money" that you speak of can be easily obtained with patience and ingenuity. That can't be said for most F2P games that I know. For them, at some point, there's a paywall. The only real paywall in Warframe are aesthetic enhancements...and even some of those can be free from the trader and reduced with the luck of RNG and some of those 50% off login rewards.
Overall, it does it r...

The procedural generation algorithm is much more complicated than just replicating 5 planets. Supposedly it takes into account many variables to generate not only the look, but the weather and atmosphere. So, it's not just a 'looks' thing, but an overall feel of each planet. There will be archetypal planets like ice, desert, tropical, etc. But, even those are said to be different due to changing terrain. It will be interesting to see.

You DO realize that this is pretty much like ALL high tech devices? They all start out unproven and relatively expensive. It is unrealistic to expect tech to release (especially something like VR) and it be the best it will ever be. Tech is released with a promise that it will function as advertised and the idea that concept can be improved with future iterations. The tech-heads are the ones that will purchase these devices and spread the word. IMO, it's very much worth talking about. The...

Paragon is still very early. There are some balancing issues with some characters and pacing. But, otherwise, it has promise. Smite is much more complete, having been out for years. It probably won't change too much from what it is now. If you are interested in Paragon, I hear that they plan on having some free open weekends where everybody gets the chance to try it before it releases.

None of what you said matters for this game. Encounters will still be extremely rare with players spread out among the 18 quintillion planets. Mod support, as of now, is offline only. You won't be waiting for anybody to load, at least to start playing. Like any other shared world game, you just load into a server with space available...and away you go.

Who's to say that Kratos is the ONLY God of War? He's obviously that for Greek mythology. But, maybe there's a different GoW for Norse mythology, and another for Egyptian mythology. This would allow them to keep the title of the game and establish an all new tragic hero at the same time. Just a thought.

Politics and religion are fundamentally sound in theory. It's in practice, where man can (and will) screw up the interpretation and application, do they often fall apart.

I had a Pentecostal roommate in college. I was going to hell just for some of the conversations that we had...according to him. Yet, once he started to live the college life, did things far worse than me. In the end, as crazy as it sounds, I had to reel HIM in.

I see where you are coming from. But, the "slim" models are different. They offer nothing but new for consumers, aside from design, while allowing the console makers to reduce the price and further profit.
I think people generally would be fine with option 1. However, option 2 could anger people. I think most people realized that option 3 would be coming sooner than last gen. Though, with these rumors, that could possibly prolong that decision as well. Who knows at this poi...

THIS is the biggest issue for Sony...Trust. I get the excitement, especially for the core gamer. But, I also see how someone might feel slighted. Consoles have never been treated like smartphones. So, nobody expected some mid gen upgrade when they dropped money on the PS4. So, what does the future look like? Does this PS4.5 prolong this gen? Do Sony and MS skimp a bit on the next gen consoles and rely on mid gen upgrades to close the gap?
In the end, this could cause Sony and/or MS t...
