I think that was the intent of the statement. He has ALWAYS said that parents need to be parents and stop putting OTHER priorities over what should be most important for a child's future....education. Obama doesn't hate videogames....he got a free Wii for god's sake. He just hates that the priorities of America have shifted away from the importance of education.

If you look at trailers for what they ARE...then it is REALLY hard for them to lie. Videogame trailers have gone the way of MOVIE trailers. As a teacher myself, of science and math, I find WAY too often that kids these days DON'T have parents tell them when to put away the videogames, turn of the tv, and let's not start with the late night texting!
