I did that for the first time today....at least the first time that I could literally see. Hit the guy coming around the corner by a flag. Didn't feel too bad because he had been camping for the entire match and I finally figured out where he was and flushed him out.

On TOPIC: I have seen more "noob toobers" that are at crazy high levels than those that are at lower levels. Maybe that has to do with lower levels trying to level up weapons...don't know.

now all that you need is some Uncharted (1 or 2 because they are both impressive) so that you can complete your transition to the darkside!*LOL*
Seriously, I don't understand all of the "this or that sux" crap. Just play games that you like. By the way, Infamous is worth full price! Enjoy your purchase...lord knows I do.

This will be the first and full release of GT on the PS3...so it IS going to sell. Not only Europe supports GT, but it is really strong in Japan...and no slouch in the Americas. STILL not a HALO killer! But, it will make some noise of it's own. Especially if the 4 million plus of the Prologue is any indication. (which some skipped, by the way, because they were waiting for the FULL version)

Agreed...the vigorous defense of HHG can be fanboyish at times. I, for one, would NEVER suggest blindly following anybody. I DID read the comments of the Troll Police...which is why I commented that it wasn't fair that you followed a logically sequence of thinking with an argument that wasn't quite built on logic.
I agree that HHG's titles can be misleading, and his info can be pretty iffy. But, I wouldn't say that I would completely disregard anything he says. I think of him as more o...

that the proof is in the marketing...how silly of you to think that actual support matters!!!/s

I agree...but that mighty green marketing machine is a formidable foe. Both companies will probably have an uphill battle outside of their established fanbase simply because of the dominance of the Wii. I guess this is what tarot cards and crystal balls are for...huh!?!?*L*

Sorry...couldn't resist...probably should have! :)

That just isn't fair. Having an argument based on REAL logic...just not fair!!!*L* (I used to teach Geometry in high school and we were NO LONGER allowed to teach LOGIC...how do you prove ANYTHING without LOGIC???*L*)

As for HHG...the flamebait articles are HIS example of sensationalist journalism (Jerry Springer, National Enquirer, etc.). It is the bait that he is using to get people to explore the article. Does it work? Who knows!?!
I love his passion for the topic and he...

is the type of comment that is NOT considered HATE! Hate is the ignorant attack on HHG and his article without ever seeing the video or reading the article. I agree that HHG might not be the shining example of classical journalism, but he is trying to make his way in the profession with the knowledge that he has. Constructive criticism is cool, and probably wanted. But, if you look at an HHG comment section most of the people just make random and unwarranted comments. There are SOME that DO t...

I think it has MORE to do with giving some breathing room for titles. March was PACKED with titles that are poised to do well. Adding GT5 in the mix, would probably hurt those titles in the long run. (since GT5 sells so well) It is virtually impossible to nullify the roar made when a Halo title hits. It's become a media phenomenon (regardless of whether it deserves it or not). They moved the motion controller to the fall to counter Natal...so possibly they needed to insure a AAA title for fal...

GT5 is THE game for each of the racing leagues that are found in the game. So, I expect it to be big at the rally series, NASCAR, IRL, and Super GT. Plus, it is ALWAYS featured at the biggest car shows in the world. They MIGHT need to advertise a bit heavier in America, but elsewhere it is already a known commodity.

NO SOURCES....not one??? Yet, he is able to provide interviews with credible industry insiders. I find that a bit harsh. With all of the devs that he has showcased on his show, not one of them could be a source? Anyway, I understand why you would say IGN or Gamespot brings better information. But, remember they have an entire staff. HHG is a one man show. Plus, he tries to bring you information at the formative stages (as soon as he hears it) However, the perception is that when his info does...

It is well known that when the devs were porting 360 games to the PS3 that they didn't take full advantage of the architecture of the PS3. Either because they didn't have enough experience, or enough time, they would simply route everything in one direction and leave most of the "power" left untapped. Recently, we have seen some devs that are actually starting to USE the PS3 in a more efficient way. Which results in better ports. It's about having the time and actually WANTING to ma...

Sometimes when I hit the agree button...it will disagree with the comment above it. Sometimes it will agree with the comment above me. I just always assume that if I have no more than 2 disagrees that they were probably of the same mistake.

I am SURE there will be a massive campaign to get the name ARC out there. Plus, the PS3 motion controller would be too technical of a name to sell to those that don't know what it really is. If you saw a commercial and the name PS3 MOTION CONTROLLER came on...how much of that would you be inclined to remember? Probably not much. However, a 3 letter name is more likely to be recalled. Especially, if there is direct link between the product and the activity. Arc, Gem, and Wand would have all wo...

of what advertisers think the American palette is able to handle. Power colors, understated, with a small hint of characterization. It's unfortunate that none of the foreign publishers want to take a chance on the American gamers and give us the original art. Or at least something that attempts to achieve the same level of merit. This isn't the biggest offender by any means...but still not on the same scale as the original.

IMHO...is lack of creativity and innovation. An article can be well-researched, well-written, and well-conceived. However, if it is NOT an original concept. It can devolve into a fairly pedestrian regurgitation of utter tripe. There has to be more to the industry than top 10 lists, game vs. game, console vs. console, sales data, and speculation. For example, I actually enjoyed the recent article on IGN about why the author decided to finally purchase a PS3. This is not because I am a fan of S...

Tabloid at it's best. Unfortunately, it is only a reflection of everyday attempts at "journalism". You can't even watch the local nightly news without the same sensationalistic attempts to sprinkle news in with whatever agenda the news corporation has.

Showing his face and facing his critics every Sunday...with industry insiders...that obviously have no problems with him isn't enough credibility...what is? I get it. He is over the top. He breaks the rules of English in almost every sentence. He is obviously biased. However, he also gets valuable nuggets of information from industry big wigs. He scores interviews from gaming events and SHOWS them...as opposed to having to read some recap. By no means am I saying that HHG is the shining examp...

I am hoping that this game is exactly what the adventure genre needs. Maybe there will be a rebirth of titles in the genre. Lord knows gamers need more choices in their lives. I love all genres of games, but this generation is gonna be saturated by FPS and TPS games simply because that is what younger gamers have been fed. Just as it is hard to have a discerning palette when all you eat is McDonald's...it is truly as difficult to understand why certain games are great when you have been force...
