I hesitated at clicking the video because of the title...but he got me. I was intrigued to see if there was going to be an insightful discussion on "dropping the ball" or what. To my surprise, there was actual information. That being said, it WAS old info...but info nonetheless. The actual discussion of the title was more of a "feeling" than a full blown thought. The point has been brought up in other threads with added FLAME! So, overall it wasn't so bad. I don't have iss...

But MS might have paid for the rights to have that title available on XBL. Anyway, I would rather them release some adventures from the Maniac Manison series, which for some reason I liked better. I'd be all over that!!!

Those comments are so 2007!!! Come now. Do you really believe that crap that just spewed forth from your fingertips? The only thing that was an absolute fact was the point about the Wii. As for devs, some find it more rewarding to challenge themselves with the more open architecture of the PS3. The "looks" of multiplatform titles has EVERYTHING to do with programming and time constraints and nothing to do with the ability of the given system. (see PS3 exclusives for examples) Rememb...

Those have to be taken out in Domination before the main objective points become active. The longer you can hold them...the longer you hold off attacks on the main objectives on your side of the map. Here's a pretty good link to explanations of all of the targets in MAG. Hope it helps!!!

that we will see some new maps and clothing options down the line. I love the idea about the training for leaders, because it can be a bit overwhelming your first time out. I think that there will be some more modes...but that will wait until they iron out the issues with what they have. I just love the fact that we KNOW that this game will have great support.

Because they are running so many servers for support. However, last night there were over 6000 on the server I was on. SVER is always populated, Valor being next, and of course Raven (my faction of choice) had the least.

Edit- Seems like each time that I have played...the numbers increase. I tend to play late night and there are still good numbers out there. I think that as word of mouth spreads about this actually being a good game that the player count will increase.

Sorry...couldn't resist!!! Gotta love those Red Devils!!!

You are exactly right. SVER guns are just overpowered. If you don't believe it...go toe to toe with w SVER member and see who survives. Or, pick up a SVER weapon and use it. I played through the BETA with each faction and I was able to max out (lvl 40 on the BETA) my SVER character way faster than any other. I've even read about them being as much as 3x more potent than either Raven or Valor. (no proof...yet)!

The community will settle in and it will be great. It is STILL loads of fun now...unless you are one of those ultra-competitive types that throws controllers at every loss. I was in the BETA's and picked it up. Right now SVER is dominating...as expected. But, as the new players get experience...the battles are changing. No more MAJOR DEFEAT in less than 3 minutes!!!*L*

How someone with 35 kills and 5 deaths can be beat by a person with 12 kills and 12 deaths. It's all about following the FRAGO objectives. You do that...you get the experience. You go lone wolf...well...you are literally going to suffer in the end. I had a kid that was livid with me for exactly that. When I told him what happened...he just cursed at me and said "That's why I like MW2 better!" As if that would somehow hurt my feelings or change the outcome!!!

Is not so much with the score. In fact, I don't put so much into review scores to begin with...unless they are unanimously below standards (like HAZE for example). My issue is with the fact that it seems like the reviewer was just frustrated at being on the losing side too many times.
Balance can be an issue. It IS an issue right now. But, that is because of the evolving nature of the game. Many of the BETA players realized that SVER had an innate advantage. So, they went with that. Th...

I just wanted to add that if you DO try it. You will have to give it more than one play session. Most people will play, in a session for 2-3 hours. This is NOT enough time to fully understand the battlefield flow. (unless you get really good people who will communicate and explain while playing) Plus, the better and bigger game types don't open up until you level up. (like Domination after level 9) If you like the idea of teamwork and winning as a team...this is your kind of game. However, if...

I decided that I would have to choose between MAG and BFBC2. I had already made the "impulse" purchase of MW2 (which I enjoyed for what it was). I was in 3 beta phases for MAG and I can say that it DOES have a different element. COD and BFBC are games where the individual can far out weigh the team. All of your experience is directly tied to how you do as an individual. There is really no incentive for playing as a team...unless you actually care about the win. Let's face it. How ma...

The ending was a bit disappointing. But, I can't say that I didn't have a LOT of fun getting to the end. It is a great co-op game. Especially if you have a couple of friends and loads of hours to kill. I applaud Gearbox and 2k Games for continuing to pump a bit of life back in to the series. These are the kind of games that DLC is actually warranted.

is more of a design decision to keep the clusterfvck element to a minimum. They wanted to preserve the advantage for a team that is playing well at defense. If you successfully repel an attacker, then there is time to prepare for the next "wave". It DOES get harder once you get to Domination...because there are just SO MANY enemies at once...let's not talk about the reinforcements that are called in by command leaders...just CRAZY fun!!!

was GREAT with the fixes during the beta. Just about every week there was a new tweak or fix that was added. I believe they will support this to the hilt. I understand your hesitation, as many have also hesitated. One thing for sure, the longer you wait...the harder it's gonna be. Just like in MW, if you join in later....the other players have such an advantage (in terms of options) that it can be daunting. But, if you are used to that challenge...then by all means do what you gotta do. IMO M...

Being in 3 beta phases, I was always "preaching" that you have to stick with the game. It is NOT one of those games that you will be going crazy about on the first play. You have to get to all of the intricate details that unravel in the later game modes. It is hard to deny that it is a fun experience once you fully understand the flow of the game and play your first Domination map! Haven't booted it up since my purchase, but will probably join Raven as well. See you on the battlefi...

Maybe a GoW III commercial for the SuperBowl!?!? That would be killer! Too bad the KZ 2 one didn't make it...but it was scheduled and then eventually sent to the interwebs!!!*L*

It LOOKS like they went completely serious on this one. I hope not, because I liked the elements of humor and banter of the first one. Even they campy tone of the first worked for me. This doesn't mean that I won't be buying this one, but I just liked the tone of the first.

However, I actually hope that David Cage actually allows us to take the actions of the Origami Killer even IF it involves the taking of a child's life. Not because I am some sadistic sociopath, but because it will enhance the intent of the game. Putting gamers in situations that are socially and morally uncomfortable and allowing us to make decisions. Since it IS a mature title, I would think that Cage would give adults the benefit of KNOWING the difference between reality and fiction. The WO...
