He's probably avoiding the hate (warranted and not) that awaits. He's the public face of a very publicized "failure". That can't be easy, considering that the game that he was so excited to reveal didn't live up to expectations. When the time comes, he'll poke out his head again and face the music. Plus, as far as interviews, the media has moved on. He'd probably have to PAY to get them to pay attention again.
Probably won't happen due to the metacritic score. There used to be a lower limit of 80 in order to be considered for PSN. (indies aside)
While I don't expect EVERY title, it would be a great incentive to revisit the more popular titles. That being said, if it takes away too much from current dev cycles, I'd be just as happy if they focus on the future titles.
While it looks marginally better, what the focus seems to be for this one is refining and expanding the actual mechanics of the game. (which Ubi tends to do pretty well in the 1st couple of games in a new series) The first game, driving aside, was pretty solid mechanically. Hopefully, they dialed in the new stuff. I doubt it will become a new AC. But, it doesn't have to. It just needs to carve out it's own niche and deliver. We'll see how well it achieves that.
To quote the great MJ, "You are not alone..." 😀
If the home version of Pong doesn't count, then I guess I'm with the Atari crowd too!!!
Lucky for Sony, you aren't their primary audience. They are reaching out to the mass market that, more often than not, DO actually buy according to popularity.
They cater to different needs. The slim is now the entry level console...the one that is focused on mass market penetration. The Pro is focused on the core gamer. Sure, there is likely to be a bit of overlap. But, I'm sure that Sony doesn't see the Pro selling quite like the original PS4. The masses will naturally opt for the cheaper option because they are less likely to care about what a console does and focus on just playing. The core gamers will decide whether or not it is worth i...
Sounds eerily familiar if you change "made up term" to "terms I don't really understand"! 😀
To write in cursive. Lol
Just think, there's gonna be someone that reads this and has never seen a cassette tape before!!! 😖
Depends on why you play the game. PES doesn't have the same level of investment into their UT inspired mode. They can't afford all of the licenses for kits and stadiums. But, for the on pitch representation of the game itself, PES has been overall a better game for at least 2 yrs. This year is no exception. Many people will say it, but it honestly does "feel" better. There's a tangible difference in how it plays in comparison. It can be a tricky switch (old habits and al...
For sure. Just know that the game is pretty daunting at first. There's a LOT for a new player to do and understand. The ftp structure turns some people off. But, with patience (and a little community help) you really don't HAVE to spend a dime. In fact, you can make in game currency. I've spent roughly $60 on the game (to reward DE for their work as I've played since the second week it was available on console) and I've probably made 3X that amount.
If you start,...
Unfortunately, we created a monster...a monster that has to be the prettiest and most crisp and color rich monster ever.
I guess the argument with devs come down to the old "with great power comes great responsibility." We, by nature of demanding all of the graphics bells and whistles, have overlooked performance and more importantly (at least to me) gameplay advances in areas like AI, different design, etc.
The first cars were about as Premium as you could get...since everybody else was still pushing the ol' horse and buggy.
I don't know ANY gamer that was asking for a 3 year generation. Most were happy with the generations, as long as the devs continued to deliver quality content and the systems continued to deliver better experiences. Last gen was extended, or at least side tracked, by motion controls. PS3 didn't start to hit it's stride, outside of 1st parties, until the 3rd year. Xbox 360 slowed down a bit and rode it out with Kinect.
Point being, these new consoles weren't built to l...
So there's no way to get a Premium product at a cost efficient point? The idea of Premium isn't relative to all Premium products. It's relative to what you have to offer. You can't go too far with pricing one way or the other. (i.e., you can't out-price your value or you just have an overpriced product and resultant "sticker shock". Also, you can't price too close to your standard because that isn't enough to create the idea of "Premium". ) Sony...
In REAL life!!! Lol
Huuuuuge Edition! 😀
From what I've seen, the gunplay is still there...but the hacking and toys present a more formidable option than before. Hacking was pretty much a way to get to the shooting in the first game. Now, it CAN be all you have to do. But, you can still go in guns blazing...if you want. There are more than just tasers. The 3D printer actually prints "real" weapons as well.
As for Aiden, he was pretty bad. I like the vigilante aspect. But, I never really cared for him or anyth...
