I don't get it... JellyJelly is saying that BF makes no compromise between visual-innovations and good gameplay - how has that anything to do with BF2?
Also: BF3 has new guns, new class-layout, new mp-system, new maps, new modes... It's just like "the same" as BF2 as MW3 is "the same" as MW2.
I thought the first 15 minutes were fun and interesting, after that it was just stupid how bad and overhyped the game was. I'm glad I didn't bought it.
The autosave is sooooo bad, I don't even know what it is doing - I see the point "Game saved" or "Checkpoint" so often beneath, I always think "ah - it is fine" just to find me at the start of a really long quest/journey or even in the wrong section of the game after I loaded up. I don't understand what they are saving...

I think what you are implying is "free dedicated server-files" so that any hoster on this world can host a dedicated (or you yourself on your own connection)
it's called "a trainer", not "a mod" - probably because it is also used to distribute no-cd cracks, I won't give a direct link. But when you type "gamecopyworld" into Google, you might find what you are looking for (they have tons of trainers for Dead Island already available).

also - where exactly do they get these infos from? You know...Steam is not the only service offering achievements, Origin will feature achievements in the future as stated by EA. They won't count towards your steam-achievement collection though, that should be clear enough.

He specifically said "older COD titles" - those really had good hit-detection. Talking about newer titles (I would go with >= MW2) you are right though. But you also have to keep in mind that the kill-cam is one of the worst in COD-Titles, they do not really represent the actual gameplay.

mhm? The XBox uses a PowerPC-CPU, that isn't built by Intel but by AMD (and another dev. when my mind serves me right, I think they built it in a joint-venture). The CPU is thus based upon IBM's PowerPC architecture, has nothing to do with Intel...

The Cell-Processors wouldn't do any good for the PC-crowd because they have very limited usability....
