Replacing a letter in a word with another letter is not a grammatical problem. At least in most cases.
I still think it sounds stupid as well, but that still does not qualify as a grammatical problem but as a spelling problem.

The problem here is that the patches have to go through the tiresome approval process of Sony/Microsoft, so they want to fix everything with one patch. Which makes sense to me...

"Classic Maps" - that is fine. To work with that, to bring maps back people liked/loved and demanded is a good move. Charging for them is what is fu**ed up...
I mean - I play dust/dust2 since the days of CS 1.3 and I am still playing them today on Source. Would be an entirely different game if those maps would be missing...
Conclusion: Old maps? Yes, name the classic maps and give 'em to me! Faster!

You operate under a misconception. You see, the point most people try to make is this one:
The maps were already there, they were created beforehand for another game and the people bought it at that time. This time they just need to copy those maps over to the new game - there is not a whole lot of work to do from them. But they still charge you for it. And they charge a lot.
you may want to add Sledgehammer Games and Raven Studious - they were innvolved as well.
the same boat obviously means that they are targeted at the same kind of player - HALO is much like CoD, in terms of gameplay-mechanics. I do not want to say that both games are the same, but they are indeed playing in the same "boat" thus you can compare them directly to each other.
Because the SP of BF3 is not "basically half" of the game...? If you compare 200h gameplay hours in multiplayer (I have around 230h gameplay on BFBC2-MP) against 8h of SP you cannot make the assumption that the SP is half of the game.
