There is no "PC gamers in general" - the variety of gamers using the PC as the platform of choice is so incredibly wide, that every assumption about this user-base can immediatly be discarded as a false assumption, simply because it won't cover the whole base. I for one enjoy my games on a 50'' screen while playing with my PC (with controller) or on 3x24'' monitors (with kb&m).

If you never had expectations to begin with, you can't be disappointed.
I have to agree - I liked it, it was fun to play - especially in co-op.
I don't get what people like about Dead Rising, though. It is tedious and becomes boring fast. I mean like really, really, really fast.
I don't get it - when a game makes really, really, really much fun until you end it - why would you want to stop there? Why not get "the same game" again with a new story and probably a new envoirenment?
The only thing wrong with that? The fullprice-tag. It seems like yesterday that devs just pushed out an Add-On or Expansion for much less money, instead of releasing "a new title" for 60 bucks.
Care to elaborate? It delivered exactly what it promised, although I didn't like the game (but I thought that from the first moment I heard of it), that is just personal, I don't agree. It did exactly what it should, Rockstar delivered what they promised.
So... why was it disappointing?

The patch supposedly fixed a little bit of this... but I cannot confirm this. I own the retail copy, so I am not plagued with steam but with securom and gfwl.
The greatest thing of this being that the loading times are >1 min to even get the game started... Great game nevertheless :)

Literally - the only thing bugging me is the long starting time, but afterwards it's fine... frame-rates are good, games looks nice, plays awesome... oh, dx11 is broken at this point, it is so bad that the fps drop from 60 to 13...
This is not a black or white discussion - there is a lot to consider before actually proceeding to judge the reactions of game developers to the used-games market.
