Also - SplitScreen for PC!!!
I hate that every developer out there just assumes that PC people don't want SS, it is riddicoulus.
But it's not made by DICE and I think that is the point they are making... Madden is made by EA Sports, so... by EA themselves, not a whole lot to say about that (anything else than "it's shit" of course), but they aren't forcing DICE, because they just know that their games are always to count on.
I don't see where the hate for Consoles is coming from - sincerely... I own a XBOX 360 and a full fledged gaming pc - I love 'em both. Sure, the Xbox isn't nearly as capable as my PC and sure the games are veeeeeery overpriced (I would never ever buy a new game for my xbox), but for just playing games I really don't want to fire up my PC every time...
The problem here are - and always will be - the developer of games. They tend to make shitty ports, they tend ...
From what I've heard - since Patch 7 it is playable. I don't know it yet - that I'll have to test out.
yeah, because video-games really want to be realistic. Go to ArmA or OP:Flashpoint if you want realism. BF is about the fun, but I highly doubt that you will see earthquakes every time you play a map...
The shit? Man - earthquakes? Really? That is freaking awesome!
@evrfighter: I really, really, really doubt that they will do EMP-Bombs because it would unbalance the game if FF is off. On the other hand - would be funny to watch a teammate bringing his whole team down, because they are currently stuck in a chopper ;)
Yeah - you can move in with me, I live in Germany if you're interested :D
StarFox 64? That is great news :) I loved the shit out of this game!
that is not the point of the deal - otherwise you could justify every theft if you somehow promote the product you stole. It is not okay to steal those things, it might bring Square Enix some publicity, but it's prohibited by the law and it should be prosecuted.
Think about it - what if the game was a horror in the early stages?
and why is this in PS3 und PC as well if it's XBOX-Only?
1. You do not pre-order DLC but the game itself and you'll get some DLC included.
2. Bobby Kotick fails to "embarass" them because footage of a game is missing. I do not see the "embarassment" (even though some might have called it that)
3. Nope, they're not the laughing stock of the internet.
4. Nope, BF3 was always planned for an Ocotober release (which is the SAME month in which MW3 will release, btw) before MW3...
so? Preorder it. If you don't - deal with it.
And of course this is targeted at getting more pre-orders, but is that really that bad? Of course they make the game to get some/a lot of money - but isn't that okay?
You do not have to buy it, preorder it and you'll get it free.
Not true, I bought it a Amazon.de and I still get those preorder thingys.
Take the following example:
1. You open up a new store.
2. You make a discount-sale because you opened up a new store. Let's say 25% on every item.
3. You make it last 1 month, then it's over.
4. 6 months later a customer comes in and DEMANDS to get his 25% on every item purchased. You deny obviously.
You just treated the customer very unfair in your oppinion. My oppinion? He is out of luck, he came to late, I do not care: He could...
uhm...no? No dedicated servers for CoD:MW3:
http://www.pcgamer.com/2011...
To be fair - The CoD-Franchise had them until CoD:MW
Nope, wrong again... with the platform-code at hand, MS could build another binary from the game and run it... of course this would take a little bit (it would be "recompiling", although technically it is more like deassemble > convert > assemble and compiling isn't needed any more, since you already have the machine-code at hand), but after a initial waiting period, Windows could be able to launch the binary nativly. I am not saying that this will happen, but this is tech...
@cuz660
Except that you do not have all the maps, weapons, etc. - so "Elite"-Player will not only have an advantage over you, but they also will have more maps available - knowing Activision you'll join a server on a map you have and you get disconnected after the round, because it changes to a map you do not have.
Well…this one is easy: Seeing that the PS2 is actually working on a modified version of the MIPS-technology, it is “hard” to emulate the hardware (reasons you easily can find by yourself), you need a lot of horsepower to emulate this efficient on the x86(-64)-platform.
Talking about the XBox? Well that is a PowerPC-architecture which is designed for consoles, but it runs on nearly identical code as the x86-platform. You wouldn’t even need to emulate it…
Why i...
It reminds you of what now? Fallout 3 and Borderlands are completely different... It is okay that you don't like it, but comparing those games to each other doesn't do any of thoses games any justice.
