You guys go on about how MS is lying, and then post misinformation about Xbox's not being available "everywhere,"(everyw here, really? They are not sold out anywhere?...) and how plenty of stores have stock. You try and point out technicalities to refute MS's claim, and then resort to them yourselves, like a store having like 3 or less of X1's available, 2 of which were returned, and claiming, "look, they are in stock!"
The amount of insecurity...

"are you serious Right Now? So your telling Devs won't get more out of the consoles in the coming years :/. "
That's not what he's saying...
He's saying that under x86 architecture, devs are like going to "max out" the potential they get from the consoles in a smaller timeframe compared to last gen, not that there won't be any progress at all - this can be a double-edged sword.

I think the real question when talking about PS4 vs X1 sales, is "does it matter?" I don't really see how sales numbers amounts to much outside of the business aspect of the industry. If one persons buys a console that sells 100 units and someone else buys one that sells 10,000, is the one that bought the higher selling device having more fun on his console because of this? I'm having a blast playing Forza on X1 - somehow I think I would be having just as much fun regardless...
Your argument is one I see a lot from opponents of batteries, and it is flawed due to approaching the scenario from only one angle. Where you use the argument of batteries being outdated tech as the basis of why controllers shouldn't use them, you leave out a very simple concept - choice. Batteries offer another option for those that want it, and yes, there are people that prefer using batteries.
The advantages batteries have over a build in pack, ironically, is convenie...
You could only press "X" faster to turn on the console vs voice controls, if you were already had the console in your hand, in which case you wouldn't need to use voice commands. You are presenting a scenario where your argument is the obvious choice. What about after coming home from work or whatever. Taking off your coat, bringing in groceries, putting your keys on the desk, etc. during this time, you could say "xbox on," eliminating the need to drop everything, pick...
Except in comparison, the PSeye is more of a gimmick/secondary purchase, while the Kinect 2.0 was designed from the ground up to be an extension to the console. Id it flawless? No, but the PSeye comparisons are tiresome. It simply is inferior hardware, and the voice commands are limited at best.

"Cover system worst idea ever!"
- No, the worst idea ever was health regen. kinda takes away from a game when you can just hide and regain health anytime the s--- hits the fan. It's especially ridiculous when they add it to games with a Medic class...
Perhaps when we mentions "realistic" mech battles, he's talking in terms of how the mechs move and behave more lifelike, like people, rather than the stereotyped stiff mechanical movements we're used to seeing.
And as was mentioned, it appears these 2 talk all the time, so professionalism aside, Randy seems like he was simply talking to Jay like 2 chums would talk at a bar. Personally, I applaud him. The overly aggressive hold that politically correctness has over people in the US, makes me want to punch a baby. Guns and violence are okay, but drop an F-bomb or make a domestic abuse joke, now you've gone too far...
It is equally frustrating the notion that celebrities or "...

"yes i know Destiny is a MP game, but nothing about it has been interesting to me. "
- possibly because you are more focused around competitive MP, and Destiny has shown to have a huge emphasis on co-op gaming - your mention of TF and COD as system sellers seems to strengthen this claim.
Destiny is one of my most anticipated games for next-gen right now, due to it's open world MMO nature. Many players love being able to create a character and bu...
You get what you pay for.
My video card cost as much as my Xbox One, and I can easily run any game I throw at it at max settings - can your next-gen console do that? Even years into the lifecycle, next-gen games likely aren't going to be achieving max settings on a lot of games.
people don't buy consoles because they want the absolute best graphics and performance. They buy them for things like convince, ease of use, exclusive games, and controller p...
EA has it's obvious faults, specifically in the ethics division, but they are also attached to a lot of good games and franchises - http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
That being said, an open world Star Wars game would be great.
Both funny and sad how you think that somebody lying to defend something as trivial as a game console, is more believable than them simply sharing their actual experience with the device... I have listed faults I have encounter with the device (just search my comment history) so I have nothing to hide.
Maybe some people simply cannot come to terms with something they and others despise with such passion, actually not being even remotely as bad as they though or hoped it woul...
It's always gotta be a contract, or a conspiracy or some backroom deals with MS, right?.....
Don't really see how Kinect is the opposite of that. I think more people know how to speak or even move their arms/hands, than navigate around a UI with a controller... Besides, the "mainstream" is all about cool new gadgets and devices - they eat it up, so regardless if the Kinect works flawlessly or is a gimmicky hunk of crap, that aspect alone about is "appealing to the mainstream."
The only ones I ever see going on about how they hate the Kinect, a...
I'm really soft spoken, and Kinect hears me fine... maybe it isn't the volume of your voice, but the way you pronounce words.

The game is working, so stop with the exaggerations...
Yes, the game has problems, but I did just play it last night for around 3 hours with friends, without any crashes or server kicks, so I would qualify that as the game being in a working state.
