even in that clip you linked, MS still does not advertise the X1 as a cable box. It emphasizes its TV integration feature, but it never claims to be a cable box or to replace your existing one. YOu still need a cable box to use the TV feature of the X1.

That being said, the "Watch TV" feature of the X1, isn't just for TV. You plug in your 360 or PS4 into the HDMI-in port, "Watch TV" now allows access to those consoles. Wa...

@Foxtrot

You offering very little to your argument other than conjecture and theories. You state your claims of Bethesda not being able to "handle" adding co-op to a game, as facts, yet use their single player only games as evidence. You talk about the MMO as if it has been out for awhile and you "know" how it's going to end up. And then you take things out of context.

"We don't get many single player only games these days and...

Much of the reasons why people aren't seeing PS4 boxes in stores, is due to Sony's inability to meet demand, not due to them repeatedly selling out. Even in cases where they are stocked and sold out again, much of it is still due to the inability to meet demand, since they send only a handful out at a time.

I don't doubt that PS4 is selling more overall than X1, but these empty shelves everyone claims they keep seeing, aren't due to droves of consumers constan...

You could also argue that they don't have an excuse *not to* put MP in future releases because of the MMO. There are many people who simply want co-op integrated into the TES games, not the idea of a full on MMO. Also, adding MP functionality into an otherwise single player ES game, would not necessitate a monthly fee.

That being said, It is likely this game will eventually go f2p. Seems that virtually every MMO that comes onto the market, eventually goes f2p. WoW apparen...

Either way you look at it, whether they decreased the default difficulty level or offered options, the difficulty would need to be toned down.

You also present your concern with a condescending tone, not only using the term "casual" as some demeaning word, but also implying that only casual gamers would even entertain the idea of decreased difficulty in games. You are aware that Battlet...

I do like the idea of bringing back a mech game for xbox. I enjoyed Mech Assault and Chromehounds.

If they were to bring back a game= like this, they should have an option to play the original version, or play an updated "easier" variant. Many games do this - they're called "difficulty settings."

Players who demand that difficult games remain difficult, always seem to have a selfish tone, like even just the option of playing the game on easy, would somehow ruin their fun.

"KB/M are supposedly "more precise" but I've never seen it."

- m/kb being more precise, is factually accurate; it isn't up for debate. You may do better with a controller or find it comfortable, but these are only preferences. If you are talking raw numbers/data, a m/kb is factually more precise than a controller. period.

"KB/M is nowhere near as immersive as a controller, and there are some game...

Don't care for GOTY articles, even if they turn out to be games I agree with. The only opinion that matters what game deserves GOTY, is my own.

Based on his replies, Canadian is a prime example of the angry, "fight the man" gamer that make us all look bad, where they feel a company has wronged them so much, they feel obligated to "warn" others, offering little more than personal experience and closed-minded opinions as "evidence" for his claims against the company as a whole. It even appears his disgust towards MS is so strong, that just hearing people mention they don't have a problem with MS, actua...

With N4G practically being taken over by Sony fans, I can easily see him getting modded for poking fun at PS4, even if it was in good fun.

The atmosphere around here is comparable to a cult mindset, where Sony fans get leniency from the mods, while everyone else has to walk on eggshells. Posts like Gabenbrah's are treated like the equivalent of talking about removing "under god" from the Pledge of Allegiance in a Fundamentalist chat room...

"The more for less argument" is only taking into account the capabilities of the consoles themselves and/or the games they will have available to justify the claim. They do not account for variables outside these parameters, which are relevant to the case being made.

Ex: all my close gaming friends play on Xbox, which is a big reason I play console. I also prefer XBL and the xbox controller over the Sony equivalents. That being said, despite the X1 being less powerf...

To be honest, if anything is going to "define a next-gen console" I would say it would be a feature of the console itself, and not a game. Throughout the life cycles of the new systems, there are going to be many updates, and I wouldn't be surprised if they included these "defining" features.

I don't see things like 1080p/60fps in games, as anything "defining" of next-gen. It's like they're finally catching up to where games have ...

Of the big titles coming out, this is one that is actually in my "rent not buy list," at least based on what I've seen so far. Between The Division, Destiny, and possibly The Crew, Watchdogs just doesn't seem to compare in the open-world genre.

"Justifying netflix behind gold because gold is a service? Netflix is its *own* service. A paid service. It doesn't need another paywall to work."

- which is exactly why it is justified that XBL charges a fee to use it. You are choosing to utilize a service (Netflix) through an optional third party service (XBL) that isn't required for the initial service to work. It's like a company charging you money to pay a bill online or via phone, rather than simpl...

Technically, they are entertainment systems, which is why they offer more than just the ability to play games. You have a Smart TV, yet don't use any of the "smart" features - why did you even buy a smart tv?

You are using your ignorance to justify your opinion, as is detailed in your "I dont want to dance or yell infront of my tv," line. As if Kinect owners are constantly dancing and yelling at the device...you can just talk to it...it will pick your...

A lot of you are so off base it's funny. Do you really think the reason Xbox One's are available at retailers, is because it is so abysmally horrible, that it isn't selling?
