Love when people use their personal experiences with problems, to justify the overall severity of them...
Chaos A.D. is my favorite album of theirs.

Even if left to their own devices, Rare wouldn't likely create the greatness they once had, simply due to restaffing.
And MS actually did let Rare put out what they wanted, and despite solid reviews, their Microsoft titles sold worse than expected. As a result, Microsoft decided to restructure the studio.

Like typical opponents against games without challenge, you go straight for the extreme low on the challenge meter, and use it for your example. Think of easy, medium, hard difficulty levels. You, and others in your train of thought, seem to think that a game the lacks challenge is essentially always on easy, and this simply is not the case. Games can be played at the skill level of the player. In this case, it isn't really challenging because the game isn't more difficult than the pl...
@lopez_josue
Challenge "can be" fun - it isn't for everyone. There are those who feel games are pointless without challenge, and others who don't want to have to deal with it in a medium where people are supposed to be able to relax and just play it. This helps explain that despite it's popularity, Dark Souls is a niche title, and why the competitive scene in virtually every shooter, will be outnumbered by those not in it.

Why do people keep insisting that the Kinect is "forced" on people? Not only is a hostile word to you, creating a less than desirable mental image, it is also misleading. It isn't forced on you - it is part of a packaged deal, like all those extra channels you get in your cable package that you never watch but still have to pay for. And like those channels, you don't have to use the Kinect if you don't want to.
For it to be "forced" on you, wou...
I would argue that this game has the best car physics.

Some of you probably never even heard of it before now.
The thing I'm focusing on is if a different company made this claim, would people be so quick to research/debunk it? MS makes a claim like this, and suddenly the gaming community is the cast of CSI, looking for clues and evidence to challenge it, Yet if a more favorable company made a similar claim, I doubt everyone would be so quick to judge, perhaps they might even take their word for it.
Now I know I'm gonna see the "go to argument," about how MS is nothi...
They are "restricting supply" yet there have been many claims of retailers selling out of X1's and then getting restocked, and so. You don't restrict supply by shipping more systems to sell... If anything, they are just better with meeting supply and demand than Sony is, which as a company as whole, they likely are.
And based on comments like this, it appears ignorance, perhaps with a touch of elitism, is the cornerstone for owning a PS...
MS isn't "spinning" anything... They aren't claiming to be the "top" selling, console, only the "fastest." Regardless if Sony's inability to keep up with demand is MS's "saving grace" in this claim, it still doesn't come down to "spin." It comes down to the current situation being favorable for MS, and thus MS taking advantage of it.
Spin really isn't needed for their claim, and think that's what...
...but it did have a week head start... that's like a real legit thing to bring up, and you can bet your ass if the tables were turned Sony fans would be playing that card. To just dismiss that statement with a "/s" tells me that you don't care if it's a variable worth bringing up or not. As long as Sony's winning, nothing else matters.
Sci0n, your "it's the obvious" rant, sounds eerily familiar to Christian radicals trying to defend the existence of God...One skeptic brings rationale into the argument, and you go apeshit.
Now I'm not denying that PS4 is selling more than X1 - it had a week head start, is releasing in more territories and is more liked among the community due largely in part to MS's DRM fiasco, but to completely deny the notion that the X1 is just as popular or more tha...
Didn't Major nelson comment on the Xbox being the "fastest" selling console, not the "top" selling console? If so, the PS4 selling more than the X1, doesn't really make that statement a lie.
It's more reading comprehension than semantics...
I think the X1 will also overall have greater sales in NA over PS4. Once consumers outside the early adopters start buying it and heavy hitter games start releasing, word of mouth will spread and people will know that the console is actually decent and not the "horrible fail" many were claiming or even hoping it was.
I can also see people who were skeptical about the Kinect, or even hated it, actually seeing it's usefulness after they use it. The console has a b...
And the console war rages on...just as pointless as ever...
As if the amount of enjoyment gamers get from their preferred console, is bolstered or decreased depending on the system's overall sales...

"When it comes to looking at the artistic merit of gaming as a whole, there's a lot of games that would look fine on the cover of a Trapper Keeper, but not a whole lot I'd been looking to frame and hang up in the Met...whole lot of Thomas Kincade, not a whole lot of Monet."
Since I mainly use shotguns, I've been working on "shotgun BS" clips. Wish the record feature was around for past BF games, I'd have a an entire boxset worth of content...
