Just tell the guys in the party what to do ;)
No seriously, I did not mean to offend anybody. I haven't played ghost recon before so from my point of view it resembles The Division but I see now that it is the other way around.
Looks like The Division in a new area ;) Not meant to be a negative point cause I like The Division. IMO one can see the Origin of both games is Ubisoft. Looks interesting :)
399 would be with a bigger loss IMO. The expected Vega/Ryzen tech APU will be no high-end hardware but won't be cheap nonetheless. I would expect a price around 499.
But the console is just the enabler to buy software, where the real profit is. MS could be willing to go in with aggressive hardware prices and take a loss they can even out with game and accessory sales.
I personally would prefer if MS threw in a 8-10TF GPU, 12 GB RAM and 8 Ryzen CPU-cores on a c...
The UI is great, I personally like it! Especially in comparison to the PS4 UI I clearly prefer the Xbox UI. With voice commands it is pretty easy to navigate. And one field for advertising on the homescreen is IMO no big reason to bash.
@KillZall:
They so far announced Sea of Thieves, Halo Wars 2, Cuphead, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2 and accidently by a racing-wheel company (but within the expected 2 years dev-cycle) Forza Motorsport 7.
That looks good to me till E3. The new game announcements, as every year, come at or around E3.
But I agree with you that it is all relative to peoples own interests and that no one can ever agree. And I don't want to personally attack you. I simply ...
@MRMagoo:
But I would not see as many casual gamers buying Halo Wars 2 as they bought Halo 5. I don't expect any salesnumbers in the same ballpark.
Don't feel bad for us, we have plenty of fun with lots of awesome games on Xbox.
I don't get where the notion comes from that Xbox suffers a lack of games? Just because Sony already showed the "most anticipated games of 2017 and beyond" does not mean there are no interesting games to come on Xbox. MS most of the times holds back the big game announcments till E3, so there is nothing new about that or any indication that MS leaves the X1 gamers behind.
Scor...
Technically he is right, since there won't be a front running Halo game. Halo Wars 2 is more kind of a niche game for RTS fans. No system seller IMO
Yes, but it is Forza Motorsport. Totally different game than Horizon.
I skip Horizon since I don't like arcade racers. I can't await this years sim racing Forza Motorsport release.
I don't get why people complain about an annual Forza game since they are both two completly different genres. Every time I read a comment where people complain, I think those people must not have played Forza games, because it is so plain obvious that they are not comparab...
"Diluted XB exclusives by putting them on PC "
That one I would connect to the general business decission of MS CEO Satya Nadella to streamline all MS products as cloud-service like offerings on different hardware-products under the hood of one unified Win10 platform.
Xbox Live is no exception to that. Having all your games on one Win10 platform and always with you no matter the hardware is IMO the right direction and a necessary step for future proofing...
Get your facts right! Turn10 brings out a sim racing game called Forza Motorsport every 2 years! Playground Games delivers a new arcade racer called Forza Horizon every other 2 years. The only thing both studios share is the engine and the Forza in their games!
I love Forza Motorsport and I like the evolution of the game every 2 years. It is an awesome franchise for sim racing enthusiasts on console! I don't see why this studio of absolut sport car fans that love bringi...

"As for speed, that survey was "based not only on how quickly consumers could connect to a gaming network, but also on how quickly gaming tasks could be completed," according to the report. These include lag, matchmaking, load times, logging in and getting friends into a game. The result...
@ Garfield:
I would say, since Xbox will be transformed into an Xbox service on Windows 10 devices, with the easiest entry point beeing the MS Xbox console, you have to say goodbye to seperating Xbox and PC. The new MS exclusive is the Windows 10 exclusive.
Buying an Windows 10 exclusive on PC is one copy more sold on an MS platform. You even have to go further, the next Xbox won't be a new genreation, it will add to the existing userbase, hence MS started to report Xbox...
I am not sure about that. Atmos and other codecs via audio stream from a blue-ray to the Xbox previously got crippled by the fact that the Xbox does the decoding and even in bitstream it has not been the loss-less passthrough of the signal to the AVR. Since the AVR is the more sophisticated machine for such tasks the Xbox obviously delivered not the same audio quality or the original speaker distribution.
As I understand the new feature, it simply adds the capability of delivering a ...
I just have bought a Dolby Atmos and DTS:X capable AVR and I am really excited that my Xbox One S does support Atmos and mybe soon DTS:X now. The support of real bitsream comes in handy in general as also DTS-HD finally will be decoded by my AVR.
I am really happy about the feature and I will test it before I consider an other UHD Blue-Ray player, since the One S may suffice :)
I think there won't be any more generations for Xbox. Xbox will be a service for MS consoles and Windows 10. Games will easily be compatible with multiple generations on these X86 architecture consoles. It will be as with PCs: presets for graphics depending on the console power.
I like a future like that, where you have a library of games always staying with you and playable on multiple devices, like spotify or netflix and all the other services comparable to that.
Xbox and PS have a helathy adoption rate, great to see that console gaming is alive and well.
Apart from some marketing deals and some Indy games that are on a low budget, I don't think PS4s lead is in any way beneficial in term of game development. The Xbox user base is big enough, so all AAA multiplats will be released on Xbox. X86 architecture makes multiplat-development pretty easy.
Since Xbox is going to be a service with consoles with backward-/forward-...
Ah okay, I didn't know that cause I have never played Ghost Recon.
