I did and I can't wait :)
I am a fan of faster hardware iterations. A new console every 3-4 years with automatic backward and forward compatibility is a great way IMO.

lol

Vitriolic headlines like this are the cancer of the gaming community!! Live and let live! I am a huge Xbox fan and it is my prefered platform. But that doesn't make the other platforms bad. We have so much awesome platform choices and should not fall into such fanboy BS.

I like it better. You basically have your homescreen at the press of one button. All you need is added to the guide, your pins etc., all is there. It also is a bit faster, which I appreciate :)
But I also use Kinect to start games, apps or search something in the store via voice commads which always will be faster than navigating anywhere.

It will cost $399, $499 at max. By focussing on improving Polaris, customizing the CPU and building a hardware DX12 command processor into the SoC they achieved much at low production costs.

I game on Xbox and let me tell you this, I have plenty of awesome games to play, so there are enough reasons to stick to the Xbox service environment and there will be many people playing games on the Xbox platform with play anywhere, may it be on the Xbox One, Scorpio or on Windows 10....

It is really amazing what MS achieved with tweaking the Hardware. Collecting data with the PIX tool about game engines and specifically run simulations to see what is needed to run games in 4K with headroom left for picture quality improvemnets is a great approach.
Although I have hoped for vega and ryzen this on the other hand is a very optimized polaris and custom CPU solution with dedicated chips to deliver a huge perfomrance output improvement for less money.
I would not...

The current state of many released games suggest to buy the game when the timed exclusivity ends. By then the game may have enough patches to be playable ;)

There always will be some sort of deals like this and as long as they are timed and limited to marginal content I honestly do not care.

"Again, dont run your mouth unless you can back it up."
I think I made myself pretty clear that I have lots of hands on time with my console, so I don't see how there are no games on Xbox since there is a constant release of games, may it be multiplat or exclusive. As I only have Xbox as my prefered system I play multiplats and MS exclusives on it. A lot of fun that awaits me.
All I try to say is, that the drama is blown way out of proportion.
A list...

I don't get what you people are so negative about? I am regularily playing Forza Motorsport 6, The Division, PES2017, Gears 4 and now and then Forza Horizon 3. I am waiting for Cities Skyline which arrives next month and I am also eager to play Path of exile soon. I also wait for a few more patches before I try Mass Effect Andromeda.
I am hyped for Forza 7 and Scorpio and I am excited what news will reach us with new IPs at E3.

You know, my general concern is ...

Crackdown 3, Forza Motorsport 7, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, Cities Skyline are the so far known console exclusives coming in the next months. At E3 we will hear about new IPs. And there will be plenty of multiplats in 2017.
I don't see where there is no games to play. I am having fun with my Xbox.

omg please stop, the narrative becomes ridiculous! Another drama-queen "Xbox has no games" opinion piece! It is disturbing how the gaming "media" lives on clickbait and it also is disturbing how the "console warriors" fall for it! Since when is the release of 2 AAA games in March a slow month for this time of the year?!

Xbox is doing fine, lots of games to play and E3 is around the corner with plenty of games to come. At least I have enough gam...

Yes, Sonys worldwide brand recognition is higher but it does not change that people have different tastes. I for one do not like the Sony ecosystem nor do I care for most of its exclusives. It doesn't make Playstation a bad platform, it simply is not my cup of tea. I prefer Xbox for the service, gamepad and exclusives.
So I don't care for all those drama-queen "xbox has no games" opinion-pieces as I am having lots of fun on the Xbox platform and IMO people should r...

I can't wait for Forza motorsport! It has been 2 years since the last game. IMO the 2 year dev cycle is great. When the thrill of the last one is fading the new one with improvements and evolution is coming!
I don't get how people can not understand the difference between Horizon and Motorsport as they come up with the lame "Forza every year" jingle!

lol, those articles are so pointless now! We heard it and we will be wiser after E3, where mS is supposed to reveal new IPs according to Phil Spencer.
Xbox is doing fine. The ecosystem is outstanding and there are good exclusives and lots of multiplats. Enough reason to enjoy Xbox.

I would say MS does not care if you buy the game on Xbox or in the Windows 10 store via the playanywhere platform. As Phil Spencer said, hardware is an enabler to sell software and that's why consoles are sold with a low profit margin or even at loss.
6TF PC gaming starts at $1000 if you want a silent PC for the living room and compared to that, Scorpio will be a bargain.

Before Xbox One, I have been a PC gamer, but since I work and have family of my own, I la...

Clickbait! The dev has not worked with Scorpio:

Ken Lobb already explained how they get around that "problem":

"What's new is we've figured out how to write software in such a way that it can be better, but still be forward and backward compatible," Lobb explained. "The Xbox One S is a good version of this. It's better than the One. It's, you know, less than 10 percent better, but it's better, and that kind of ...

I don't get it either. Ken Lobb answered that weeks ago:

"What's new is we've figured out how to write software in such a way that it can be better, but still be forward and backward compatible," Lobb explained. "The Xbox One S is a good version of this. It's better than the One. It's, you know, less than 10 percent better, but it's better, and that kind of thing was sort of impossible when you go back to the Super NES. We couldn't...

Microsofts plan for Xbox from 2013 soon will be the standard, or at least I hope it will be. Digital game trading and family share were a great idea! I still think it was a mistake to not go through with it! How awesome it would have been to share games with up to 10 people! How great it would have been to trade digital games! And all of that for just signing in once a day if you want to use these options.
If you would have stayed offline you also could have played your games but wi...

That is one flaw, unfortunately the gaming community bashed Microsoft when they wanted to allow game sharing with up to 10 people and the opportunity to trade digital games in 2013.
