Yeah, it really saddens me how vitriolic the gaming community became because of this stupid fanboyism...
Since when is prefering one system over the other falling for it, lol. You fanboys are beyond me, as if the the platform you don't own is pure evil *facepalm*
There are many people going with Xbox since they like the platform as a whole better than the Playstation and they do that of their own free will, knowing what they are doing. Stop making Playstation the only holy grail of gaming. Both platforms are great and people can be satisfied with both.
Huge fan of the books, so it is Yennefer for me of course. No doubt about that! I couldn't go with Triss even if I wanted to, since I know how deeply connected Geralt and Yen are :)
lol :D
so true
Seems like twinfinite needs to generate some christmas bonus via clickbait to afford themselves some nice presents, *sigh*
No!
And both are incredible games.
propably lol :D
The Scorpio has compared to the PS4 Pro significantly higher specs, with possibly new AMD HW (Vega + Zen?) and more RAM, so of course it will be higher priced sherlock *facepalm*
MS decided to wait one more year to have a better price point for more sophisticated hardware and Sony wanted to release a better console this year but with no access to the new AMD hardware at a consumer friendly price.
2 companies two different approach...
I really enjoyed Ryse! I played through it several times and on legendary difficulty it is pretty fun an somewhat demanding. Nothing better than increasing the combo score to release a nice finishing move.
The graphics are still one of the best on any console.
Clearly they could work on the story but all in all a great game an definitely a day one pre-order for me if there would be a Ryse 2 :)
:D :D LOL, no shit sherlock!!? :)))))
That is not how you guys can interpret revenue. Revenue does not display profit. You have to look at profit margins on your revenue!
Gaming software generates profit, console hardware has practically no profit margin. Lower revenue due to lower hardware sales does not translate to a loss. Better, the increased software revenue should lead to an increased profit compared to last year. So increased software shows active user base and more profit.
Gaming revenue decli...
As I wrote above:
Original Microsoft release:
"Gaming revenue declined 5% (down 4% in constant currency) driven by lower Xbox console revenue offset by higher Xbox software and services revenue"
https://www.microsoft.com/e...
Since you generally take a loss or maybe break even on console sales the interesting thing ...
Answered my own question, lol:
"Gaming revenue declined 5% (down 4% in constant currency) driven by lower Xbox console revenue offset by higher Xbox software and services revenue"
https://www.microsoft.com/e...
So the more interesting question:
Have profits increased??? If they sell consoles at loss or break eve...
They don't plan on making any profit with console hardware. More important is the question if the revenue should grow due to more software income with more units out there...??
Interview from Kotaku:
"No, says Phil. These consoles are merely a response. To two things: the consumer and their needs relative to the technology consoles interface with.
“I don’t need to sell you a new console every year,” laughs Phil. “In fact you could say it...
I think it is similar to the Xbox Ones 8 GB extra flash memory where app or game data is suspended during instant on mode or while multitasking apps and games.
@abzdiine
Yes me too, I always hoped for a PES comeback since 2010. I used to game on PC till 2013 so there I always had the option to update PES via the vibrant modding community. In the end I could enjoy the better gameplay with original licencing and all big leagues.
Unfortunately that lacks on consoles...
PES 2017 is a fun game and IMO the gameplay indeed feels much more rewarding than with FIFA :)
This year I switched back to PES. I played PES for many years but switched to FIFA cause FIFA has the better atmosphere due to licencing.
But I played both demos this year and I have to admit, PES has the far better gameplay (at least to my taste) and thus I switched back to PES, since I don't feel that comfortable in FIFA as I feel in PES.
It is sad that PES doesn't have a FIFA like licencing...Otherwise FIFA would be under pressure to deliver a better game and not ...
There is a natural 5:1 or even higher ratio of PS4 to XB1 gamers here in Germany, since Xbox is not that popular in Germany. Europe, apart from the UK, is Sony territory due to the high Playstation brand recognition. So nothing special about that.
LOL, people, please learn how to use the internet!!!!!!!
The media outlets generate so many stories out of ONE INTERVIEW! Read the original source in its original context! There you see what Phil said and not some phrases ripped out of context to generate headlines!!!!
Read and make up your own mind!

On that topic of "Microsoft changing the rules" I think this interview with Phil is interesting:
http://www.kotaku.com.au/20...
It clearly shows Xbox Division is evolving alongside the Microsoft core services:
Xbox Live as service on multiple devices. You choose where you game. The console is the easiest plug&play device that e...
I don't know what you are talking about. I have an Xbox and I am pretty much happy with all the exclusives of Xbox, so I don't see that "lack of high quality gaming". Where is that notion comming from?
