Of course Xbox blows PS5 away with BC and also with other things like power. Next gen is going to be interesting.
Nice video that explains that Xbox and Sony basically have almost the same tech considering dedicated audio and decompression hardware. What remains is that the Xbox has 40% more compute units and thus much more graphics capability. Oh and Sony has a faster SSD
Yes, it is the same as in 2013, only this time around Sony is trying to let it’s weaker hardware seem closer to the competition, lol. The series X has around 40% more compute units and faster RAM. Just as MS tried to close the gap by increasing clock speed for the Xbox One, Sony is doing the same. They even try the “more balanced system” narrative with less compute units but higher clock, as MS tried. But in the end it is what it is: 40% less compute units which will show.
The rest ...
The first PS4 exlusive since a long time that really interests me. Looks really good! Definetely my type of game! :)
You mean console-warriors! You can be a fan of Microsoft or Sony without trashing the competition. I can prefer Xbox but still I am happy for playstation owners when they get great games. Same thing the other way around.
Totally agree with you. I love TF1 because of the maneuverability! It felt so natural. TF2 feels different, I don't know how to describe it, it just doesn't feel right. It is like playing COD. Not that this is bad at all, but its just COD and not TF anymore!
IMO that is the biggest flaw of TF2, since the campaign and new online modes and more weapons etc. have been an improvement. But that is worthless without out the exceptional gameplay of Tf1 though.
I am really enjoying my Xbox One X so far!
As per usual I don't get this "no games" nonsense. On the contrary, I don't know how I will finish all those games: AC Origins, Shadow of War, Super Luckys Tale, Forza Motorsport 7, Wolfenstein II, SWBF II, Destiny 2, The Division 1.8 update, ... and the list goes on. I need more time to play all of these games, so I am good.
I have a surge protector and so far all my Xboxes ran fine with it: Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X. Never had any problems.
I never would like to run my home entertainment electronics without my surge protector.
I am so far very happy with my X1X purchase. Awesome piece of hardware!
The console is quiet, quieter than the X1S.
The games are significantly improved, even on my fullHD TV.
The overall performance is better.
All the new games take advantage of the X1X. There are many games comming and yes I count 3rd party games as games ;)
From me the consoles gets a clear recommendation if you care for the visual and performance upgrade (ev...
There are always defective consoles and on launch days there are more abundant people complaining about that, cause many consoles are sold at once. No need to worry, it is the same with every hardware in the world, that you will find people on the internet having problems.
As far as my experiences go with MS support, this will be sorted out pretty quickly for the people affected.
My X1X runs pretty smooth so far. It is even quieter than my X1S before, and I love the experien...
Just look at this video and decide for your self if it is worth it:

I am glad I preordered the One X :)
I think the reviewer didn't get the story behind the Xbox One X! It is an upgraded Xbox One that offers clerarer and crisper visuals and improved performance for those that either have a 4K setup or for those enthusiasts that want an improved 1080p image.
Never it was supposed to be a new generation.
How are those numbers a bad sign??
- Gaming grew 1% (offset by lower HW sales, which of course is imminent when the Xbox One X is right around the corner)
- software and services grew 21% (software and services are the ones with big margins and thus deliver the profit)
- XBL monthly active user grew 13%
-> All in all pretty solid and still a growing market. Don't get the fuss about it...!?
I'd say Forza Motorsport 7. It is the more refined game. GT Sports reminds me of FM5: Great game but sparse content, the first steps in next gen and needs more tweaking. I think GT Sports will get there with the next itterations where FM7 now is.
Of course the choice is obvious if you only own one of the two platforms, lol.
I'd say it is a needed fresh start with a new engine to build cars and tracks from the ground up. A GT7 with recycled assets from PS3 days would have been a disaster. So I think it is positive to go like this. Forza did the same thing with FM5, as it also has been smaller in scale but the core of the game has been awesome -> racing. Same goes for GT Sports.
Right! I don't get it either why people cry about the system in FM7 since you are greatly rewarded by playing the game. Loot boxes is an extra element that has no big impact on gameplay. So you could ignore it.
If it would be pay to win I would understand the outrcry!
1. Forza Motorsport 7s gameplay is spot on. It is incredible how Turn 10 keeps on improving this game with each itteration. I love it! Of course some things like Forzathon and some Rivals are still missing, but they will come soon.
2. Loot boxes are optional and you can buy them with in-game currency! I only bought a few for a mere 500k credits and they didn't have that much of an impact. If you want to collect credits to buy cars play the game folks. Then it is pretty ...
The reviewer obviously didn't understand what it means to play a racing simulation, lol! Racing is about perfecting the racing line on each track, so of cours it is repetitive in case of driving on the same tracks many times!
As for the loot boxes:
I don't get the outcry as long as we earn enough credits to buy them with ingame currency. So long I didn't buy much of them and collecting cars is pretty easy if you play the game instead of bitching about i...
Easily one of the best racing games ever. Love it so far. Turn10 keeps on improving their games every time :)
I am impressed how they even improved graphics and introduced dynamic weather.
Can't wait to see how it will look and play on the One X!
40% more compute units in the GPU will matter for sure. We saw that with PS4 vs X1 and we will see that Xbox series X is the more capable machine.
