it's YOUR fault. YOU are lagging. Kinect is so much faster than you, that it takes your brain 3 seconds to register that you just made kinect move.
google chrome, cell phone control, DVR capability, all on ps3... yeah.
pseye picks up clapping and can track your arms a LOT better than you think it can. Use the mesmerize demos for it and you'll see what I mean. the clap can be accomplished by not only it tracking your hands but listening to them. PSeye is a lot more capable than people give it credit for.
I so love how the xbox fanboys try to make kinects lack of ability to be ported to older games as a positive feature. "all our games are exclusive"... you do realize that's because you CAN'T make a FPS that works for kinect (we've seen em' try), you CAN'T make a lot of experiences that require those things called buttons.
Move has plenty of exclusives, and we also love the fact that we don't even have to re-buy all of our games (High Velocit...
why would it not? it's not going to be juggling and making you breakfast in the background. 512mb's of ram as well... WTF? it matches ps3 in ram capability.
why GT5 would be better on 360, where it wouldn't have free online, 1080p (without upscaling from 720p), 3D, and would come on 4 discs.... yeah.
360's lead over PS3 steadily shrinking... not much longer and ps3 will be back on top again in sales. slim + halo reach didn't work as well as MS would have hoped. now all they have to bank on is kinect, which is facing off against a popular move and GT5/LBP2 right around the corner.
it means you are an idiot for believing sites like this. let's go over this again. Sony SOLD 1 million moves. who does sony sell to? not us. retailers. they sold 1 million moves to retailers. these guys always talk shipped numbers, because shipped to them = sold, since they do not sell to the consumer but the retailer. retailers are not going to buy up more stock than they can sell (although it is known that manufacturers will sometimes stuff the retail channel with excess stock, like xbo...
no, xbox free should offer netflix and all that also, because you ALREADY HAVE TO PAY A SUBSCRIPTION FEE. MS is double taxing it's user base which is bull@#%#.
he's specifically referring to a technology sony patented (split screen gaming where each player gets a full screen thanks to the 3d glasses blocking out the other player's frames), so it's a dig at ps3's 3d.
"Trying to get a bunch of people playing together in a room where not everybody sees the same thing ... is kind of a weird disconnect to me."
That's what he said. he's talking about the tech sony patented that alternates frames on the tv from player 1's frame to player 2's, and so on, and the glasses block out the frame that each player is not supposed to see, effectively giving you split screen gaming but at full screen for each player.

I guess wifi became mainstream this year too, huh? I guess whenever you release a console capable of rendering a 3D image and outputting it via HDMI 1.4 as required by the 3D spec, it'll become mainstream also right?
"Trying to get a bunch of people playing together in a room where not everybody sees the same thing ... is kind of a weird disconnect to me."
Oh, so now having split screen where each player has their own screen (thanks to the 3d gl...
I have it, it's not sluggish at all. It's actually quite fun to play.
let's see... you're still coming here.
"designed from the ground up" for kinect means "we had no other choice, we couldn't effectively port games that used a controller to a hands free design". for move, it means "we chose to design it specifically for move because it offered an advantage over using a dual shock". for games like MAG, Socom, etc., shooters in general, you're not going to get much more out of "designing from the ground up" than if you add the controls at a later time. ...
ps3 is already outselling wii quite nicely.
"then the analyst realized American doesn't make up the whole world, and that the PS3 has been shrinking the gap the 360 slim has had on it since it launched and is almost about to pass it up in sales again, and they took back their forecast."
b-but, it came from a respected developer! they have to know what they're talking about, it's not like they're trying to sell us something or anything like that, they are telling the truth I tell you!
difference being, this one game (which analyzes gestures into input, so it isn't even true 1:1) is the ONLY move game with any real noticeable lag, unlike EVERY kinect game which does have lag.
this says it all...
