wouldn't it be cheaper to order one online from the USA for $1500 and have it shipped there?
This $1500 46' LCD 3D Bravia says hello.

you must consider that without ps3, this game may not have existed. MS is a lot more strict on their online stuff (limits on free DLC, which would have killed this game since it basically is based on the idea of free DLC), and nintendo's online setup is horrible. So, PS3 was the best choice.
this article failed when it hit the sales... it completely left europe out of the equation (where ps3 has steadily outsold 360 most of the year), didn't mention total sales for the year (or even try to estimate), didn't calculate who was ahead for the year, and didn't even quote the right month when they mentioned the black friday sales from last month (they said it was december sales).
They said the tech was too expensive, but also that it was not responsive enough to justify it's price. The lag was just too much and restricted the types of games you could play on it. they wanted something more versatile.
and if MS can pull out a 400% jump in accuracy just by tweaking their software, they have some horrible coders working for them considering they've had years to put this together. they should have just delayed it until it was ready.
well, that's kinda the problem also. they expect you to put in real motions to control the game but do not want to let you use your real stamina. they should have just left that alone.
this does a good job of showing exactly how well the move system can track your full body. most people think it's only good for tracking your hands, but as you can see it tracks your shoulders, head, and both arms flawlessly. notice how little lag there was?
they were probably just trying their best to steal some of GT5's thunder by announcing to their fanbase that they were working on another game. didn't work too well, since they had nothing of it to show.
No, all you did was post a stupid rhetorical question as a means of trolling, and didn't even bother to give any reasons why you were asking the question (because we all know it was just to troll). Didn't offer any arguments in support of your claim (because we all know it's false) or anything. So yes, you do need to grow up.
The only thing I see you coming from you are the words of a butthurt fanboy.
Not true at all. You can use a regular controller for Auditorium HD, RUSE, high velocity bowling, that one psn game with the rat.. etc.. yet, they all play better using move. It depends on the content being played. some stuff lends itself better to motion controls. I personally think shooters play better with move, but that's a very "eye of the beholder" kinda thing. everyone has their own preference when it comes to controlling a shooter. Some like a mouse, some only use a trac...
The difference is, sony hypes their products. MS trash talks other product to hype their own.
you obviously haven't played GT5. I'd hardly call the most advanced damage simulation ever featured in a game a "bumper car game".
Oh wow, they've already started talking shit again. That's how you know to expect the same old garbage, they have to resort to trash talking the competition to sell their product to you rather than letting it sell itself on it's own merit.
exactly. back then, when a AAA 360 game came out, reviews were focused on singing it's praises, whereas they were a hell of a lot tougher on ps3 games, picking them apart for every little flaw they could mention to bring that score down one more notch. Uncharted wasn't perfect, nor was 2, but both in my eyes are 2 of the finest games ever released. Uncharted 2's case boasts of 25 perfect review scores... and while U1 does not have the awesome multiplayer mode 2 does, it still dese...
I totally agree there, especially on the standard cars. It isn't flawless, but I'd rather see an occasional glitch that looks a bit off than damage that doesn't even come from the area you were hit. Damage modeling in games has a little ways to go before it's perfected, but GT5 at least came out and really actually tried to model it, taking us a step closer to perfect damage.
that is funny, you can get this game and a PSEye to play it with for cheaper than you can buy one kinect game for.
actually, oohwii, if you did a front kick it would track it also, because it is taking the video image of you and removing the background. so your foot would be seen on screen kicking towards the TV.
as for kinect being able to be just as responsive, that's a lie. PSeye can track at up to 120 frames per second (in 320x240 mode, 60fps in 640x480 mode, kinect does 640x480 at 30fps only). it takes in double the frame rate, and you're going to say kinect can (with half th...
go back and watch a crash in slow motion. sure, an accessory or bumper might fall off, but the second you hit a car or wall your entire car instantly gets all scratched up (even areas that didn't even get hit). all they're doing is swapping out a texture of a scratched up car, which instantly appears the second you come into contact with another obstacle.

so funny that this game got pretty mediocre reviews for what it was, back in the day when it was in style to hate on the ps3 in the media (still is to a degree, but nowhere near as bad). back then ps3 couldn't make a 9 or 10 on the review score regardless of how good the game actually was. so many older ps3 games that are totally underrated.
Even the 55's are only $2000, and you can always import one.
