It doesn't require CFW to do this.
While I don't doubt that we'll see such things next gen, something doesn't add up. Normal mapping is a process of taking a higher poly model and using it's normals (essentially, the shading detail) and applying that to the lower resolution model to make it appear as if a 30k poly model actually has a much higher poly count.
The job listing says they'll be working with normal maps, and that they'll need to create million poly models and make them "...
Not all games let you do it, but it really helps on those that do.
for FPS games, I combine the two. Dualshock in my left hand (L1 Jumps, L2 crouches, analog moves, L3 is use/enter/exit, dpad buttons switch weapons) and I aim/whatever else with the mouse. Best of both worlds... especially in games that let you use vehicles. analog control of vehicles is very nice with that setup.
I'll love the day when we stop getting these "take some english words and throw them into a blender to name our game" type games from Japan.
Sony gets hacked, the media has a circus with it, but in the end nobody suffers any real damage from it. MS gets hacked, accounts are compromised and money IS stolen... The gaming media ignores it for the most part. The worst part is, these hacks are still happening.
The author of this article took every opportunity to inject something negative about Sony along the way while reporting about Vita's success. Trying so hard to spin the positive that it just comes across as forced.
Vita is selling well! (It better be! Sony is going broke!) It can connect to PSN! (Remember it getting hacked? Yeah. That PSN) It's out in Japan! (Remember Pearl Harbor?). Gamers say the games are fun! (Remember that study about how gaming is bad for you a...
The naughty gods outdid themselves again. If they were given a PS4 to work with, they'd outdo reality.
if i ever update my console only to be greeted by lady gaga's ugly ass staring back at me when i turn it back on, i'm throwing it out the window then pouring gas on it and setting it on fire.
Sony is spoiled for the choice of the new beach to go to? No way! Sony beach was the best!
Nobody cares about this pointless cash grab of a game.
not guaranteed, but usually playable and steady. with pc's, unless you spend a lot on them you never know if you'll run it right or not. not to mention the poor quality ports on pc.
who the hell wants to go through all that trouble for a slight increase in quality? that's why i like consoles. no need to meddle with settings or worrying about if your gear is fast enough to run it at a stable frame rate.
I hope it does support the move, even dual moves. You know good and well that Sony wouldn't remove classic controls from a game like this though. They have always gave us the option with the games that would allow for it easily. A fighting game is one of those types of games. It was born on the classic controller and I just don't see Sony leaving the non-move owners out (that's a lot of potential sales) by making it move only.
Sony's biggest mistake was making that extra power so damn hard to squeeze out of the system that few developers (even to this day) bother to do it, resulting in poor multiplatform ports. Not to say PS3 is even more powerful in all areas either, each system has their strengths and weaknesses. PS3 definitely has the more powerful CPU, 360 the GPU (Ps3 can make up for that some by letting Cell render the geometry while letting RSX focus on texturing/shading, so in the end PS3 does have a sl...
this game went head to head with uncharted 3, what did they expect?
Until you wake up...
lol... no shock there.
I too hate herman cain and also am all for Ron Paul. He's our only hope. However, this was just to funny to pass up. How many candidates do you know of that hinge their campaign on something stolen from a video game? Even funnier, he has been on national television saying his 999 plan cannot work.
Unless the ol' lady is busy watching her soap operas on the TV...
