Guys, you gotta explain the downvotes when I've stated nothing but facts, Square-Enix has consistently done a bad job when they port their games to PC, often, it's the players or fix their games with mods, if the game ever gets fixed.
Honestly, most of the soundtrack in P3R doesn't quite hit as hard without him, really missed that guy.
This, I don't mind remakes and remasters, but anything from the previous generation should be off limits, I'd rather something from the PS1/PS2 days be remade/remastered.
That's honestly a good explanation, Square-Enix is notoriously bad for PC ports, even amongst Japanese developers. I don't think they ever fixed the Nier Automata, or World of Final Fantasy. I think they eventually did fix Chrono Trigger, but that was 2 or 3 years after release.
How the mighty have fallen, I never thought I ever seen Sony copy Microsoft, or even follow their lead, but here we are.

Indeed, there was, you can buy the first game on PSN's classics catalogue, but I don't think the second one is there.

That would be something I'd really love to collect, along with an art book/history book, not bundling some classic PS1 games feels like a missed opportunity to me.
Oh, so you get a colour/design matching cover with it in case you buy a disc drive? I guess that's a fair trade, but I'd rather they just bundle a disc drive with the console.
That's insane value, I never came across such a deal myself, but I also got a Vita later on in its life span( I picked up a slim JP white/lime green Vita). So maybe that deal may have not been a thing by the time I was ready to purchase Vita games.
You don't need windows, personally, I just download it on PC, then transfer it to the Steamdeck via network sharing or USB stick. Then you add it to the Steamdeck as a "non-steam game" like you would if you were using a PC. The only downside is if you play the game on both PC and Steamdeck, you'll have to manually transfer save files.
Supposedly you can use Hero launcher or something, but I can't seem to get the games to work after download it via GOG ...
I actually feel like FromSoftware kinda saved it (moreso bucking the trend of crappy half-finished games, microtransactions and other tactics to nickle and dime us). Nah, FromSoftware is good stuff, they do good work, I just wish they focus on Armored Core more often, they neglect that franchise too much.
Awesome, I never ended up buying this when the Vita was in it's heyday, I just skipped over the game for some reason.
They give away quite a few GOG versions of games though, I suppose you can just slap those onto your Steam Deck (I've done this), although it's not always ideal.
It really depends on the game, some games are more CPU bound, while others are more GPU bound, anyway, the CPU doesn't matter as much at higher resolutions since you're more GPU bound. Unless you're trying to squeeze out every FPS you can out of the GPU, then you want the best CPU you can get.
It's a very common tactic these days to make the most expensive tier the only worthwhile option, while noticeably gimping the lower tiers.
So they never fixed the game? Wow, that's disappointing.
It blows my mind, people don't have money, yet they're spending the same amount or even more (to make up for the inflation), I don't know how people are affording things anymore.
Keep it coming, I felt like we only just got 2 games last year, but I'm not going to complain.
I think the price and lack of included disc drive is the big issue for the pro, otherwise, it's Sony following suite on Xbox's strategy and not providing the amount and variety of exclusives we're used to in previous generations. So people have little incentive to buy the base PS5, let alone the PRO version, I actually think they could have skipped the PRO this generation.
That looks dumb AF and I'm down for it, it's basically Yakuza Black Flag, it's probably going to be the best pirate game since AC Black Flag.
