I loved Sabin, he was my go to guy for power leveling.

The battle system in FFXIII was ok, but I thought the AI was horrible. If you left a character on a certain role, they would sit there and do nothing to contribute to the fight after they cast their initial spells/abilities. Too often I had to take over as medic to keep my allies healed because the AI didn't know what it was doing.

If the AI was better I would have liked the battle system a whole lot ...

Sad to say, but it's smart business. Nintendo still has a strong hold on the gaming industry because the original NES was aimed at kids and when those kids grew up they continued to buy Nintendo products. I think that's what MS is banking on, the same kids that are into Kinect today will continue to support Xbox throughout the years.

It just sucks that they're completely neglecting their core fanbase in order to have a stronger hold in future console generations. ...

If they put in a high quality hot coffee mod using Capri Anderson, I might get it.

I agree, it's not that bad of a port. I was still able to finish both episodes and Portal without any trouble on the PS3. I have HL2 on my PC, so I played it that way. Imo, it still doesn't come close to GTAIV ported to the PC.

April 19th, Amazon has a $20 credit promotion going on right now. Plus, we're supposed to get the PC version free if we buy the PS3 version. I already ordered mine.

The Fight: Lights Out is at the top of my list for worst DLC. They offer cheat codes in bundles of 10 uses for 99 cents.

Earthquakes, tsunamis, nuclear meltdowns and now I hear there's a volcano acting up! Those poor people!

Although, I'm guessing Sony planned what would appear at PAX long before this all started.

If you're willing to play it on a PC, Steam has it for $7.50 right now.

That's how I feel as well, the touch pad on the back is just an added cost. Devs still don't add much functionality to the DS touch screen and very few games are actually made better by using it. The only real benefit for most DS games is the speed with which you can touch something vs using the controls to find it. Having two touch screens is just redundant by having two touch screens.

I pre-ordered on Steam earlier tonight so I could get Metro 2033 free. I'm looking forward to playing both games.

It's funny, every time I choose my birthdate on Steam I'll always wonder what the ratio is of people choosing Jan 1 because it's already selected vs the number of people actually selecting their own date.

It gets old pretty quickly, having to choose your birthdate for most games you look at.

The problem with that is you'll have to activate your username on their system, something you're only allowed to do a limited number of times. I really can't see them allowing you to use your game saves on their username, that would let them collect Trophies that they didn't earn.

I updated my HDD awhile ago to a 500GB, just use the backup feature. It will copy everything from your current drive, not just game saves.

Cloud storage is a cool idea, but really, how many will actually make use of it? I know I won't be using it. I only have one PS3 and everyone I know that has a PS3 only has a single PS3. Storing saves is great for the few people that will make use of it, but I just can't see the average PS+ user taking advantage of the storage.

I think Mortal Kombat fans will be pleased with it. It seems they made the Fatalities easier to perform for the most part. I was able to do the Fatalities for three characters on my first try and one character took me a second try.

Each character(Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Mileena, and Sub Zero) has "two" fatalities in the demo, one character fatality and a stage fatality. The stage fatalities are the same for each character. I'm guessing they'll add more fatali...

Flamebait article...

I think the only way PS3 fans would be pissed about a game being released on the 360 is if that game is MGS5, LBP3, or GT6 and it's exclusive to the 360. Then hearts would break.

As a PS3 fan, I'm happy Xbox fans are getting games they enjoy. In fact, the more games the 360 gets that I think I'll like, the better the chance that I'll end up picking the system up. If most of those games come out this year for the 360 (and n...

I might have to get this, it's been years since I've played it. It's pretty length, plus there's some decent replay value and it was actually pretty challenging at times. I can't remember if the story was worth a damn, though.

I see so many companies complaining about people not buying games new and going the used route instead. Doesn't it make sense to give all of these pre-order bonuses to every pre-order to better entice people to buy the game new?

Read the article, it has nothing to do with the economy(even though it's in shambles). There were only a limited number of units for pre-order and they were all sold prior to launch.

I have to say I'm a little suspicious, too. If I had $74k worth of gold, I don't think I'd be keeping it in my house, I'd have it stored in a lockbox in a bank. If I did decide to store it in my home, I'd have it locked away in a safe too big and heavy to move.
