I agree with everything you've said, but I've never seen a better description than: "the subpar bastard child between Disney and Uwe Boll." That was a perfect description of FFXIII.
I'm not saying the WD is a bad drive, I've been using WD drives off an on for years and have no complaints.
My main gripe was that BattleAxe is saying that Nick212004 has "no clue" because some people HAD problems with the Momentus HDD's. The main issues people had have been ironed out with a firmware update that happened almost a year ago. The drive that ships today comes with the newer firmware which resolved nearly all the problems people were having...
I love X-men also, but for me it's a close 3rd place, maybe it's because I've played it so much more than the other two.
If you had done your research you'd have found that the same can be said for nearly EVERY hard drive on the market.

The Momentus XT is a better HDD, period. Just because you have a list of people, all within the normal range of failure rates, ...
I can't wait until next week, I love the Simpson's Arcade game. The only beat-em up arcade game I liked better was TMNT.
Hmmm, it's been years since I've played, I might start a character and get nostalgic.
Careful, you might burn out on RPG's and never want to play them again.
Why does it matter? Because the title of this post is: "Why the Vita Will Beat Out the 3DS"
People were saying the same thing about the PS3 and 360, so it is comparable.
Paul may not win, but he has a great strategy this time around and so much support behind him. I'm not counting him out yet. There's a lot going on behind the scenes in his campaign that most people don't know about. When the RNC happens Ron Paul will have a say in what goes on.
I have to agree with you there. Just take a look at all the non-FF IP's Square created. To name just a few, Chrono Trigger, the Mana series, Secret of Evermore(I like it), SaGa series, Super Mario RPG, Parasite Eve, Xenogears, Vagrant Story.....
Nowadays, all we're seeing from SE are sequels and spin-offs. There's a very small list of average to awful new IP's.
What!? There's no arguing, FFVI IS the greatest!
On a serious note, I agree with floetry, a remake of any of the great FF games can't be rushed. I'm not sure that I even trust SE to handle the task.
One of my bigger disappointments with FFX was not having an overworld map to explore. It made the games before feel so much bigger, it'd be nice to control an airship again.
My biggest gripe of all is that they need to hire some quality writers to fix their awful dialogue and then pay some voice actors that know what the hell they're doing. Hope and Vanille ruined FFXIII for me.
I'm glad I waited on getting Back to the Future, I've been wanting it but have too many games to play atm. Now, I get it with PS+! I was also interested in Swords and Soldiers, I can't wait to play them. These past two months nearly pay for PS+ for me.
I have no real loyalty to either side, but I do prefer what Sony has to offer, atm. Between multiplats and exclusives for my PC, PS3 & Wii, there's very little I'm left not being able to or wanting to play. I have no interest in Gears or Halo after playing the first in their respective series.
My brother and I both work for our county and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the Congress and Senate are not the only wasteful things in this country. Our commissioners just OK'd $300k worth of programs, one of those programs is handing out fresh syringes to heroin users. $300k may seem like a small amount, but we live in a smaller county.
Also, how many billions did President Obama spend on his trip to Mumbai? The government, top to bottom, is wasteful in al...
Just because you have a 10 or 20 Mb connection doesn't mean you're capped at those speeds for a lot of networks. Some Comcast areas (and other networks) often receive higher speeds than what their customers pay for. I'm on a 20 Mbit connection and I often see 3MB+.
Nice find for those that can make use of it, but I'm with the others, my downloads are usually 1.5-3MB/sec.
I downloaded Psychonauts as well, such a great game. I beat it a couple times on my Xbox and since I don't have it anymore, I couldn't pass up $2.49 for that game.
Edit: Nevermind, I just proved you right. I was getting 8-9ms random seek times on my RAID and 4-5 on my single drive.
I debated for weeks on whether it was worth getting an SSD for my setup. I ended up buying two fairly fast 500GB sata III drives and run them in RAID 0. I'm very happy with the performance I'm getting out of them. They're not as fast as most SSD's, but they are much faster than regular HDD's.
I think the Vita will do really well, I think they're going to have some kick ass games. But, this article is pretty idiotic.

"Have you played a fighting game on the iPhone? Don't you think it'll be a lot better with like, I don't know, actual buttons?"
There are now bluetooth controllers you can buy that have buttons. If they become mainstream, I can see controller/phone combos becoming actual competition to handhelds.
