The article has absolutely nothing to do with BR vs DVD. They're hyping a game, not a system. Naughty Dog is saying, hey, we've been working hard and here's some proof. Don't turn this into a fanboy argument.

Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger both need HD remakes. Although, I have to say, I don't trust SE at all anymore; so it'd be nice if they would hand it over to a competent development company.

I still prefer this version to any other for the NES. I really don't think SMB2 is given enough credit. One of the big reason SMB3 was so great was because of SMB2. That's about how my list would look. I loved VII when it first came out, it took my top spot for years. Then, I got a bit older and played through it again. The story just wasn't all that great. While VI's story still held up over the years.

I looked into it about a year ago because I really like the feel of the 360 controller and thought it would be a fun project. I started reading up on the conversion and found that people with far, far better experience with electronics than me were unable to get it to work properly. The only report of a working controller I could ever find was from the guy that actually wrote the guide.
It's possible gw4k is telling the truth, but I don't believe it.
FFVI has an amazing opening, the visuals and the music really give you the feeling that you're about to experience an epic adventure.

Flashback is an awesome game. I like to play it every year or two, when I've forgotten enough about it. I love that side-scroller style, Prince of Persia, Black Thorne, Another World and Flashback are still some of my favorites of all time.
I find it funny how Demon's Souls fanboys come in two main flavors, the first group delude themselves into thinking there's a worthwhile story there and the second group delude themselves into thinking a story would have hindered the game.
I belong to a smaller third group, I enjoyed the game(enough to finish it three times), but wish there was a better storyline.

That's the single reason I haven't bought one yet. Especially, with the 3DS at this new price. I won't buy it until I see more than a couple games I want to play. I did the same thing with the DS, Wii and PS3.
Make sure to check Steam before buying from Amazon, and vice versa. I just bought Munch's Oddysee on Amazon, not thinking it was on Steam. Then I checked Steam and found it for $1 cheaper. It's not a big deal, but if you spend a minute searching between the two sites, you can find the best deal.
I'm with you, I know I'll get massive disagrees and possible loss of bubbles, but I hated MGS4. It was a fight for me to keep playing the game, but I figured since I just played through the previous three games(replay of the 1st), I might as well finish the journey.

PS Move is good for what it does on the PS3, but bringing over the camera to the PC for anything other than educational reasons(which is sort of what this is) is a waste of time.
@kaveti6616 - You haven't played GTA IV on then PC then. I could run the game at 640x480 and get 25-35FPS or I could run it at 1920x1080 and still get 24-34FPS. GTA IV was horribly optimized for the PC. Rockstar's been dropping the ball on their PC ports, if they're going to outsource their ports, they need to give them to a company that will do the games justice. Both, Bully and GTA IV were equally awful ports to the PC and shouldn't have been released as the way they were.
For a 6 year old, I would think it's an insanely hard game to finish. I was 10 when it first came to the US and I had a hard time with World 8, I was able to finish it, but it was still hard. I had to stock up on P-Wings before using the warping to world 8, just so I'd have a chance on some of the harder levels.
