I don't know how many hours I spent on that fight for my first playthrough. I was so happy when I finally downed Ornstein for the first of many times, then the fatty killed me with his hammer rush in 2 seconds flat. I ended up using Iron Flesh to down Smough, then I took my time on Ornstein to win the fight.
I just bought the LBP 2 Move Bundle for $75. I never thought I'd be excited for Sorcery, but they've really improved the game from the last time we saw it. I just wasn't too impressed when they revealed it at E3 a couple years ago, but they've really added to it and improved it.
I didn't realize Geohot was the one trying to hack the hypervisor early on. I figured everyone above was talking about the hack that got him in trouble with Sony.
There's no need for the /s tag. I feel sorry for you if you can't tell that's sarcasm.
I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure that the Other OS option was removed long before Geohot got involved. I think he got involved because they removed the Other OS option.
@disagree: Yep, according to Wikipedia, I'm right.

@Legion: Only one of those games is a launch title.
People still play Morrowind today and it's nearly 10 years old. Skyrim may not be original, but only because it's the fifth part of a series that made first person RPG's what they are today. The Elder Scrolls is to FP-RPG's what Doom is to the FPS.
Where did they say the flashlight would be in this patch? The IRNV changes were stated that they'd be in a future patch:

Karl Magnus Troedsson: Based on player feedback, we have made some tweaks to the IRNV scope to make it more balanced with the rest of the accessories in the game. The change is planned to go into a future update of Battlefield 3, and we wi...
I think I'll see if I can buy some Tanuki furs on eBay, then make my own Tanooki suit just to spite PETA. Then, I'll take pictures of myself all dressed up and send them to PETA.
@Pandamobile: I completely agree.
Though, I liked the game, I can't believe LA Noire is on the list for best graphics. Personally, I thought the graphics were pretty bad by today's standards, the facial animations were great, but the graphics looked weird to me.
Google Notched Pickaxe, which is the name of the item and see what you come up with. Other than this easter egg, there's nothing. The fact that it can be found sticking out of the side of the mountain next to a bunch of ore is another clue that it was put there on purpose.
You're right, some movies do show worse stuff, but people DO complain, a lot. Remember Hostel? There were plenty of discussions in the media about how unnecessarily graphic it was.
What I don't get is why you people can't let a developer make their own decisions about their own product. If they want to avoid controversy or just flat out think it's wrong to let players kill children in their games, why is that such a big deal?
Not being able t...
Shouldn't the spoiler not be included in the title? I prefer to know as little as possible going into a game; especially a game I'm looking forward to.
The article fails to mention a couple things. First, is that Amazon's prices are far better then described in the article. You can go into Walmart, Gamestop or Best Buy and more often then not, you'll be paying full retail price for most games, with an occasional sale here and there. Amazon does more than give just a couple dollars off each game, you'll find many, many prices that are $10+ cheaper than any of the other stores listed in the article. Since, Amazon is also a collecti...
I don't get it, I purposely avoid all screenshots, videos and general info for games I know I'll be purchasing.
For those that don't know, just make sure you subscribe or resubscribe between November 1st and 8th to get the Jurassic Park deal.
And WOW at that list, I'm glad I upgraded to a 500gb HDD before PS+ came out. I hope next year matches this year as far as games go.
From the Blog:
"Additionally, on November 15th, Jurassic Park: The Game will be 20% off for PlayStation Plus users. However, the game will be available totally free if you purch...
Amnesia is only $4 on Steam right now, they're having a Halloween sale.
Nope, D was a different game, I believe it was on both the PS1 and PC. I played it years ago, but couldn't finish it because my CD was scratched. I don't even remember what it was about, but I remember liking it a lot.
Well, I think I'll buy this. I'm a sucker for a game with a great story, something we see far too little of these days.
Agreed, hell, a Folklore repackage with Trophy and move support would be an instant buy for me.
