their visuls have obviously been up to scratch but what about the other aspects of game creation like story-telling, direction, playability?
My guess is that they will choose a FPS to do first mainly because they are PC experienced and that is arguably the biggest/best genre on the pc (depending on who you talk to of course).
I'm interested to see what they produce.
I was wondering if it was at all like a fitness balance board (a board with roller in the centre)? I guess it wouldn't be as difficult to use as one would it? Otherwise i can see people slipping off and then us reading stories like "Gamer puts head clean through TV, and it was even wall mounted!!!"
I would love a surfing game that requires your weight to be on the back of the board and to pivot your turns from there (again though, I am not sure how versitile this boar...

Points would suggest that it would be on the PS3. The reason for this is that if they were going to do a remake that it would continue on from where that tech demo of the FFVII intro left off. That was a tech demo for the "white" engine which is exclusive to the PS3 (correct me if I am wrong here) and I think they use the Unreal 3 engine for cross platform games.
Now of course this doesn't mean to say that the couldn't make the game using any engine they like on any p...
I will actually agree with that. I am one that will be coerced by this game and I know of others as well. Of course, one would would hope that the price of the console will be right by that point. To the people that don't already have a PS3 the console price matters!!!
Although, I don't really agree with much of the other stuff you said about "ownage" etc...
Aren't they aiming for a simultaneous (or almost simultaneous) world wide release with this one?
I have this ideal that they will release it before christmas this year and by that time a new sku will be around with BC and DS3 and I will go home with my newly purchased PS3 and have the best Christmas ever!!!

That it is the game for the Clash of the Titans remake..........That could certainly prove true as the movie is out in 2010 and has the same style seen in the trailer.
It's a shame, I was hoping that this would be some great new IP!
I was wondering how they were going to port the Assassins Creed; was it really going to be a big down spec job on the graphics? Well apparently not as its a whole new game.
Actually I am quite looking forward to this. I haven't yet played the console version but I will eventually. I wonder if it will better playing the games in the "correct" order?
In fact this is probably the best bundle I could ask for at the moment. However, it stil doesn't convince me to buy a PS3. I am holding out for 2 more features; the DS3 and BC. When they are added, thats when I will buy a PS3 (this is my one man campain to see the return of BC :p ).
for their sake they reconsider and introduce the 120 gig with backwards compatibility. I genuinely believe they are missing a market here by just having the 40 gig with no BC.
You still have at least a choice of a console with BC!!
