Stop making over-generalizations. Some 360 owners may have only purchased a 360 for the CoD series for all you or I know.
Achievements add more value to the game. "The Xbox 720 shouldn't have terriblely-implemented achievements" should be the title imo.
To those wondering why none of the games are physical copies, it's because of cost reduction. Bandwith usage for downloading 5 retail games is going to be cheaper than packaging 5 games with every single 360 bundle.
Meh...take a look at my review instead :P. Okay maybe his/her review is more thought-out than mine, but it was my first n4g review ;).
Fable and Forza to answer your question. Forza 3 is nearing 5 million sales.
It's all about marketing when it comes to reaching those kinds of sales on an exclusive platform. Besides, GT5 is hovering in the mid 6 million, with 10 million still a target it can hit.
It's technically not the "old school health bar" they had in FoM. From all of the gameplay vids I've seen, it's actually more of a health wheel-which is a very fitting choice imo.
Is this one of these cases?
*see a game has a high 80's on metacritic*
"OMG too low; should be a 90!"
Bioware stated TOR happening doesn't mean KOTOR 3 can't happen(< not verbatim, but close).
To each his own, but I find my score to be spot on with my terms of my personal grading. I recommend you read some of my other reviews, especially my comments in Alan Wake: The Writer DLC review, so you can tell that graphics is never the main emphasis of my review, fun factor and gameplay are. Never did I fault the game that's about teamwork and tactics, only the humdrum that occurs until your level 15 when you get to actually see this in full swing.
As stated in the com...
I hope to see links with KOTOR 2 as well. Beyond that Gnost-Dural vid, it seems Bioware's not really admiring what KOTOR 2's plot did for the series; maybe it's solely because Bioware didn't create it (pure speculation). I hope to see more ties with the sith lords in KOTOR 2 (Traya, Sion, Nihilus) then with those of Revan tbh. If you still keep Revan on the fringe of amonimity, the likes of KOTOR 3 can actually help answer all of the fan's questions.
"It needs to have its own combat system, and make it feel different to whats already on offer."
Who says it can't feel different while keeping the foundation similar to WoW. I've already read from multiple sites that it still offers nuances that make it more than the haters' catchline "WoW w/ voice acting and on-rails space fights". Why does it seem so hard for some to contemplate that the voice acting IS what make it feel different; b/c th...
Now that you have seen the scores mentioned AND STILL hold to your 2nd post, you're going to have to actually define what "very little wrong" means in your dictionary. Try to do it before you can't edit, please.
2 previous games very little wrong? Uncharted: DF has an 88 on metacritic and didn't win any GOTY's that I can think of (please correct me if I'm wrong). It's safe to assume there had to be virutally SOME wrong for that to have happened.
"Naughty dogs development history only indicates that there will be very little wrong with Uncharted 3."
To dive back all the way in ND's history, they have ratings ranging from 77 (Jak X: Combat Rac...
Can it be that there's actually a few faults to it instead of just instantly assuming the reviewer's out for attention?
You made some wise statements, mastiff; however, I still stand by my score and it would've received a lower score were it not for the extras included in the patch. Regardless of how time you take with the game's motion mechanics, you only need to play through the 1st level to know that, regardless of how long you take to "master" the mechanics, they're terrible finicky and vastly inferior to analog controls, which also happen to be interior to flight stick controls used...
"Earth is being attacked for the 50 billionth time"
I admit, I expected to laugh at the trailer rather than with it.

Without the "Halo-killer" hype behind it, Killzone 1 is a formidable shooter imo.
I find just Alan Wake to be worth it, but that's one of my fav. games this gen.
