Thanks for posting :D. Very interesting statement, by the way. I suppose expectation has caused a harsher tone in my lower-scored games, but I can still find the experience enjoyable-to some degree. I'll probably play Brink a few times while I still have it, despite giving it a 3.3. It has faults I can't ignore, but it also delivers unique/underused wrinkles to the genre.
I know you're not the one who created that vid. And I'm not slanting the guy who created these films either; however, there are things that are disagreeable in the vids. Overall, the vid is a solid examination of what's wrong with Ep. 1.

It's my least favorite 3D LoZ, but that doesn't mean I hate it. Even 3D Zeldas at their worst have only 'fallen' to great, rather than exemplary/awesome.
That's a jaw dropping amount of content imo. I'm excited to test out the Legacy System.
2 things for you:
- Look at my profile n4g message and learn to establish your own opinion rather than using a screenwriting/character development 101 vid on not what to do in movies (which Episode 1 falls into sometimes). If I had the time, I could probably churn up 2 hours of what's wrong with the new Star Trek, yet that received nearly-unanimous praise by everyone (granted, they were more 6's and 7's).

To be fair, the contests are open to all n4g users. It's not so much exploitation as it is lack of other posters making their own blogs/reviews (usually). There tends to be healthy competition some months though.
Now I'm worried that it'll lose that more realistic tone MoH (2010) had for more setpieces. It seems like Irrational Games is the only one immune to CoD influence.

You're trolling. Remedy has stated the open world idea went out the door about 6 months into the creation of Alan Wake (so while it was 360 and PC). AW's linear approach was to have a more focused narrative, not hardware limitations.

Personally, I think that's the main deteriment to MW1's story. Some writer at Infinity Ward actually tried to convince everyone MW1's story was actually above-average or good; when in reality, it was conceptually the first of it's kind for a videogame so the "purety" actually paints a different picture then what it really was: the same over-the-top nonsense grounded by borrowing ideas from Tom Clancy.
Yosh basically said it all [in comment below] :). I'd rather have the problem pointed out sooner by a poster than have it stay there for a few more days/weeks/months/etc.
He'll be a trillionaire when Half Life 3 (or Episode 3) comes out :P.
