-"This is what Alan Wake was supposed to be!"
That's already pointed out earlier. Then, they recognized it wouldn't work from a storytelling perspective (some of the reasons listed are probably why). The only reason I ask that question at the end was to leave the idea as a possibility, since I don't know what games could be coming 5-10 years from now.
The reasons listed are also meant to be viewed as a pessimistic viewpoint if I were...
I don't remember Jack's cutscene very well in ME2, but I don't think your ME1 examples really apply. Since the Geth accompanied Saren on Eden Prime, there's reason to believe some of them could've removed traces of a Reaper or him being there. Forensic Science? There's no bullet casings in ME1 and no other reasonable way for me to believe how Shepard could've caught a Spectre any sooner.
While the Racnai are mentioned sooner than the sub-plot in ...
"Electronic Theatre: But coming to PC of course, you’re not coming through Microsoft, you’re coming through Nordic Games.
OS: For Alan Wake PC, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is through Microsoft."
He's constantly mentioned securing Alan Wake for a PC release from MS. They'd have to do the same with AN. It's not a cut-n-dry timed exclusive situation you're falsely alluded people to.
I thought Heavenly Sword had very good gameplay overall. The team did a considerable job of using the SixAxis.
As great as LBP is, it's not a 12/10.
-"The chart is not proving any kind of motive (nor did I suggest it did), it's proving that the site gives better scores to 360 exclusive games than PS3 ones compared to what other websites give; and yes I think it does a good job of actually proving that."
Make no mistake about it, I'm not saying Edge hasn't had a history of giving 360 exclusives a higher score; the number are right there. What I'm challenging is the TRANSLATION PS3 fanboys make fr...
@rob6021
Sigh...I guess you missed the ". . .superficially determining it by racking up a bunch of scores and comparing it to metacritic" part of my comment? I have seen exhibit A, and with a sound mind have determined that to not be enough evidence to prove Edge has a purposeful inclination to degrade all PS3 games. You have a right to defend the score of each PS3 game you so choose, but not by bashing someone else's well-articulated opinion.

-"After a 7/10 on Journey, Edge predictably underrates another PS3 exclusive..."
Edge gave it a 8/10. You may still have time to edit that part.
-"The sad part is the amount of people that actually believe Edge doesn't have any bias."
I'm not exactly sure what the other people say, but I've tried to point out the fact that EVERYONE has a biased opinion. Whenever people attack Edge, I'm constantly pleading...
Somehow, I knew you'd find my reaction interesting ;). I can understand others not agreeing with my ending statement. The only reason I framed it that way was after getting hyped for KoA: Reckoning, checking out reviews, and then being underwhelmed by the demo (I'm sure full game will be great). The problem I'm beginning to have is the boring checklists I personally feel are created behind closed doors, such as with Battlefield 3's copying of CoD.

"Being an Italian, Mario pays no attention to the tormented wildlife, but decides to deliver his union's demands to the princess instead."
I've been so ignorant for all this time. No wonder he was so hard-pressed to save the princess.
Thank you :)
I'm happy to inform everyone that I just received Mass Effect 3 in the mail today. How it came about week before the "target date" on Amazon is beyond me :P.
Yay, someone else who liked the Mako sections!
... :D
@humbleopinion
Thanks for being one of the few to add rational argumentative points to the discussion (+bubbles).
Although I'm not familiar with his gaming experience, I certainly can see that he's quick to deliver his opinion in a fashion that shows years of experience. The previous reviews that I've read by him seem to be less about the whole amd more about the sum of a few particular parts.
I must note that I don't a...
I'm worried about reading if there's spoilers :P
Hope everyone enjoyed the review. You probably know the rest by now :P.
Since I haven't received my copy of ME3 yet, don't expect a review until next month. I might fill my review void with I AM ALIVE or Alan Wake's American Nightmare if I come around to it. Before that, I'd like to wrap my head around a blog pertaining to Alan Wake.
Stay tuned...
"The comments above mention him contradicting what he likes and dislikes in a story."
It seems like there's more crying, rather than honestly examining his subjective reviews. I'm wouldn't call myself a raving fan of his (see my first reply), but to say anyone on n4g has actually taken the time to show contradictions in the context of his reviews is just ridiculous.
Some posters are getting nothing but agrees simply by saying &quo...
At least the guy doesn't shy away from conversation. If you have points in which you can prove him wrong, he'll probably live up to them.
Good point
There wasn't really any connection or conspiracy I was trying to make, nor was I intending to fuel stereotypes, regardless of how honest they are. It was more of a coincidence I smirked upon thinking about it more than anything else.
Since the game dev's initial origin is a nationality that could care less about either Americans or Brits, it wouldn't be surprising to see an honest take on the conflict and backstories around that time-such as certain soon-to-be ...
I applaud that reasoning for Saren (+bubbles). I didn't even consider any of those details. I'll give you the suit recordings, but I can't fully agree to the weapon profile part. Although this is speculation, who's to say a Spectre didn't steal a Salarian pistol prototype?
Regardless, thanks for replying with those examples (I didn't watch vid so not sure if that's all on there :P). I guess at the end of the day we still need to consider story...
