But you're biased against cherry products. Over the course of a few years, I've collected all of your "reviews" on both products that included cherries and products that included vanilla (including vanilla extracts). Your opinion on almost anything cherry tends to score lower than the general public; therefore, I've deemed it inconceivable for your taste buds to have an honest judgment on the matter, thus rendering your opinion on everything about cherries moot.
I think it's funny to see how the stars aligned for Ubisoft, a developer of French nationality, to cover a war between two sides (not including secondary parties like Native Americans) they seem to despise atm.
It's really surprising to see this title seem under the radar, in comparison to a few other recent new ips. Although I haven't tried the beta (since I can't), I'm confident this will be another critically successful title for Sony.
Your complaint is understandable, especially if you've read other harsh critiques by him.
And get 2+3 on PS3 :D
For those who tl;dr the long comments: It's just another case of a poster making complaints about a game he/she has yet to play. lol
-"And no one actually believe he is lying, some just doubt it. Read dragonknight post."
That's specifically one I'm talking about. Let me just recant what I meant using this quote:
If some people "doubt" his statement is true, wouldn't that mean those people believe he's lying?
-" To make you happy. Ps3 sucks and Sony sucks for what they did. Happy =)"
He's not aski...
"Piracy and theft are two different things altogether. Why is this such a hard concept to understand, I will never know."
Why the heck are you replying to me when any one of my other posts agrees with this notion?
"but to say they are the same thing is just annoying; and it makes you look like you happily eat up what big corporate tells you."
What? All 3 of my posts are used to seperate the legal term of "theft&...
@pandaboy
Umm...accepting stolen property is a crime in the real world. Although stolen property in the real world deprives the original owner of that item, my logic still holds up. You accept something YOU KNOW was 'wrongly taken' for your own personal gain.
I never came in here to say piracy is a defined crime. It's not theft-since no one's deprived of the property-nor is it copyright infringment because that requires the stealer of t...
It's not the same thing.
- "If you have a Ferrari, and i steal it. I have a car you have nothing." Like rougewarrior said, this is the basic definition of theft.
- As defined by Merriam-Webster, one way of defining the word 'steal' goes as follows: "c. [+obj]: to wrongly take and use (another person's idea, words, etc.)"
There are a few variations of the definition, but the ones that deal with this...
Worse than ignoring it. Some are saying Gertsmann must be lying for sheding bad light on the holiest of holy companies!
Glad to hear that :)
Argh >:(
I wish I could read it, but I still haven't played the game yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see others say this is a quality review though. Keep it up :)
Your logic is off as well. Piracy is not theft, since the original remains unaffected; HOWEVER, copying one's original ip with no form of payment given (usually determined by MSRP) to its creator(s), or owners of said ip, for your own gain is stealing.
"So it stands to reason Sony wouldn't have liked that above average score any more than the average gamer did, and yet nothing happened to Gamespot, its reviewers, or their future coverage of Sony games now did it?"
How can you possibly know that? Were you involved behind the scenes at Gamespot during this time?
"...but if we really did care then it wouldn't have happened in the first place."
I argue that wouldn't be the case. I personally care because it shows that Obsidian is basically needs to make one game at a time just to stay afloat. Most gamers do care about jobs because most gamers can sympathize with those people hitting a huge speedbump in their careers.
lol at changing their ipod songs to Nickelback so they commint suicide. Seems like a fair review, but I'm still tempted to pick this up eventually.
I think the main reason was certain Black Isle guys being so enamored by the fact of working on one of their old series again that they would sign under any arbitrary terms.
New Vegas' score on metacritic (across all three platforms):
360-84
PC-84
PS3-82
I never thought the day would come where a developer loses a bonus for making a 80+ rated, multi-million selling game.
"And no french people don't hate americans ... this statement is 100% bullshit..."
Took my statement a little bit further than the original intention.
"Did you magically miss the part when the creed series being done by a multi nationnaled team with diverses cultures and beliefs ?"
How can I when that's stated every time I load in the game?
