I would buy a ps4 to play ps4 games. I would buy Vita for Vita exclusives and not playing downscaled 1080p ps4 games. I know there are some that don't get to game on their TV all the time but for me that's not an incentive for buying a vita.
Remote play is a nice to have but not a reason to have.
This is why I'm interested. As far as media playback goes this thing will probably support all the formats I want without having to convert.
As for the games if they're priced like the play Store then its bound to offer great value for money. Might not feature big budget AAA blockbusters but good gaming is about variety.
I hope it supports the Chrome browser.

Those games feature better visuals than the PS2. Next year when Tegra 4 games hit the market things will only get better.

Its the level of support I'm more interested in. How much, if any, will we need to pay to play a second hand game? Or a new game on multiple devices in the same household?

Honestly, that was never going to happen given they don't want to price themselves out of the market.
My guess is that they will still not support various codecs which for me means it will not provide a complete home media solution.

I hope the Tegra 4 gets some good support and is used to set new benchmarks in mobile gaming. Some of the visuals on Tegra 3 are fantastic given the resolutions its pushing and I can only imagine what 2nd gen games on the Tegra 4 will look like.
