Nothing in that list appeals to me so from my perspective your argument is invalid. I'm not saying that the games you listed are bad I'm just saying they don't appeal to me.
The ps3 super slim is anything but high end and attractive.
The original Alien Breed on the Amiga was fantastic!
The console releases based on the unreal engine, although slick visually, offer real paint by numbers gaming with some of the most generic puzzles and boss battles available.
Well, if this game is good then it will sell well. I'm guessing it won't with so many bigger releases just around the corner.
Explain how as 360 games have been coming on 2 discs since the beginning. Its not like 360 owners can't install the entire game on their HDD. Now if it were on 4 or 5 discs I'd share your sentiment but really, spreading it over 2 discs is no big deal.
To be honest, still using discs to distribute is more last gen and now that h.265 has been agreed their is very little point for a next gen disc for hidef movie content.
If there games had sold and I mean really sold, on PS3 I dare say they would have remained exclusive. However, the Resistance franchise was solid but definitely not AAA. Basically Kill zone set a standard on PS3 that no other FPS ON Sony's console came close to.

I agree, it makes it more immersive. No cockpit view is like an FPS where your character has no feet and casts no shadow. Basically you're a floating gun.

Exactly what the Vita needed. A true Vita exclusive that is a true showcase for the platform. It still won't sway me to get a Vita for myself but if Sony markets this right then it should result in increased Vita sales.
Looks like a bit of fun and a throw back to the days of 8-bit gaming. Given it will be free or only cost a couple of dollars it looks OK.
I hope games for the console will be generally avail on the Play store.
It will access the play store so I'm guessing a lot more games will be avail at launch. I remember a similar thing being done to help promote LittleBigPlanet, I don't recall seeing anyone bagging the creativity then.

I think PS+ is fantastic and provides great value for money. Only question I have is what it does to lifetime sales of many of the games that are covered by the subscription. Do developers get a percentage of PS+ subs based on how many times their game was downloaded? How does it work?
Please, explain to me how Sony is not about "money first". Sony may use a different model to MS but they are just as profit driven as MS. As for taking things away, Sony is not innocent of that either for example, 4 months after I had purchased my 3rd PS3 so I could partake in more multiplayer battles with my kids Sony drop the number of activated systems down from 5 to 2. This had a direct impact on my wallet as now I needed to buy games twice off PSN. Having 5 activated systems...
They may be ports but they play exceedingly well and show that mobile gaming is not just about Angry Birds as many would have you believe.
The port of Bards Tale is simply incredible as is Dead Space! But what's really incredible is that they typically cost only a couple of dollars each.
Actually, shmups play well just using the touchscreen. Reminds me of playing Hybris on my Amiga 500 using a mouse.
Substitute "fanboy" for Xbox360 and I'll agree.
360 definitely failed in Japan and I can't see why the New Xbox will fare any better.
