I would buy an iPad for its general purpose abilities. For me it makes absolutely no sense to buy something like a Vita as you still need to buy other devices to get the best general mobile experience.
Angry Birds space, like the AB titles that preceed it, is fun and is perfect for those bus/train commutes to work. Something you can pick up and play for a few minutes at a time.
And if COD helps turn Vitas falling sales around you'll thank those same kids?
You say the 3DS is a flop yet its outselling the Vita...
But...but...but...buttonless devices don't do real games.
Poor assumption on your behalf. Sony have failed to convince me to buy into the Vita and this is coming from a long term Sony supporter. Try using your brain or was your comment rushed because your late for school?
The Vita needs killer exclusives and not just portable versions of PS3 games.
Hows it feel being in the minority?
Next gen consoles will be even more pc like but will continue to restrict what you can do. I have 3 ps3s but doubt i'll get a ps4, would much rather have a console like media pc along the lines that alienware is producing.
They have become stale and generic. Take away some of the fancy visuals and you still have nothing that provides much of a challenge. I thought AI would have advanced more than it did this console gen.
People can dismiss iPad all they like but the fact is its selling at a faster rate than anything Sony has ever released. Sony will keep talking up Vita sales but like their walkman it has no real future. Devices that don't cater to the mass market seldom do.
Yeah you're right. Suppose they had better stop posting articals about PC games because last time I checked they we multi-purpose. Hell, even consoles are. Wow, better close N4G down or rename it to BVF for butthurt vita fanboy.
Sony will sell 3 million Vitas in 4 months...if they're lucky.
DMC2 needs more than trophy support to warrant another play through from me.
So what if its about being a true multi-purpose device?
Anyway, 3 million in 3 days versus not even close to 3 million after 3 months. I know which sales figures Sony would much rather prefer.
No, I don't have an iPad but damned if they don't sell!
Because most households that have consoles also have tablet devices. Why buy both when in the future 1 type of device will suffice.
On the move its a tablet, when docked at home it becomes your full media hub allowing you to browse on your tv, view movies and play games using wireless controllers.
Multi purpose devices are with us now and they are only set to improve.
Why?
I love the idea of a smartphone or tablet that can be docked next to your tv and it becomes a console that supports bluetooth controllers. Obviously I'm talking the future here.
Its a pitty good reviews don't equate to stronger sales. Vita seems to be a solid product but with limited appeal, especially at its current RRP.
Look back at the state of the 360 when it was first released. Loud, external power brick, high failure rate and bugger all software that appealed to the Japan market.
I'm sure if MS had started with the slim back in 2005 it may have fared a damn site better.
Yeah, funny. Now show me a game on the 360, PS3 or handhelds that is played by more people?
