I'm not going to speculate why but buying 4 separate gold accounts is simply not an option for me.
Well, since MS took away its Gold family pass I've lost all interest in online gaming on the 360.
Yes, but Kinect is what the PS eye should have been and now it looks like it is.
Can't really compare them yet but with 8 core CPU and 72 core GPU phones on the horizon who knows. Think is, they are just another device that could be used with a TV and Bluetooth controller if the market moved in that direction.
Comparing DRM to Hitler to and or slavery!?! So you think if you don't buy into DRM you'll get a visit from the SS and or lose your freedom and forced to pick cotton?
DRM will be the norm in a few years. Either go with the flow, pirate or walk away from gaming. If it works what's the problem?
I love the way people have decided the outcome of both Sony's and Microsoft's next gen platforms before they have been even released. Honestly, this has always been a game of wait and see and we both know that both players know how to talk it up for the media.
Some great value games on that list.
@outside:
Just so you know I'm ignoring your comments from now on also. You so easily jump to conclusions and make assumptions that quite frankly reflect just how much of a fanboy you are. By all means keep on commenting but quite frankly, I've never found anything you've said of any interest anyway.
@Outside:
Didn't disagree with you so don't jump to assumptions. As for which console I go with next gen it will be based on games. If I have to buy fewer games because my budget can't stretch or I have to wait for sales then so be it. Unlike many I don't care if I have to wait 6 or 12 months before I buy.
Unlike you I could walk away from console gaming next gen as to be honest, fanboys take away the fun from gaming for me now. I've e...
So why is a studio staying exclusive to Sony presented as an attack on MS? Talk about insecure fanboys!
Which handheld as its available for iOS and Android devices.
Like any new console I will not be buying it at a launch price.
The O/S looks pretty solid, its media support looks great, can use the chrome browser and download other apps. Sure the games may not be too everyone's tastes but there are some real gems available for a few cents or dollars. Certainly comparable to PS Store and Marketplace only games. I think it provides a great cheap gaming and media alternative.
As for the buzz...I've not seen any marketing for it in my neck of the woods however, I'm sure there would be inte...
Minecraft is fantastic! Its what a Lego game should have always been.
It means once installed the game will run off the HDD. If you need to reinstall you can but because when you install you use an activation key you can't then install it on another console.
I'm guessing if you sold the game the buyer will probably have to pay a nominal charge for an activation key. You know, like activation passes now.
Your post is all based on rumours and your own fears of how those rumoured features may be used. Those features may end up being really great to ensure real diversity and wider consumer appeal. We simply don't know yet.
Gamers are waiting...fanboys who never intend on buying one have already made up their mind and will now just attack, attack, attack! Why, because they think they're on some damned crusade that will actually change an outcome they have no control over anyway.
They should have purchased PixelJunk as I see they have announced their next game for PC and have also optimised it for the 360 controller.
Add to that a list of codecs that neither will support.
This is all just strategy. Allow a competing product's noise to die down then announce yours given actual release dates are still a while away. Look at how competitors stay away from Apple's announcements as media focus is on Apple.
I'm sure if MS had announced first that people would be saying that Sony is just waiting for the right moment to trump everything that MS had announced. As I recall, wasn't it MS who moved first this gen?
