I purchase most of my games second hand as its more cost effective. However, since Sony introduced on-line passes its been cheaper for me to buy them for the 360. Pure and simple because a 12 month sub for gold is less expensive than buying 4 online passes (assuming I only buy 4 second hand multiplayer games over that same 12 months).
PS+ on the other hand is a fantastic subscription service and MS could def learn from this.
Don't defend yourself. I've owned all of Sony's consoles (currently have 3 ps3s in my house) and had multiple PSPs and even the PSP Go but because I did not personally buy into the Vita it makes me an xbox fanboy. Before the Vita was released and advocates were talking it up I was skeptical (because I loved the form factor of the Go) however, after 12 months of abysmal sales I'm more convinced now that it will fail than I am that it will succeed. There is no evidence to sug...
This time in 12 months, unless Sony do something, we'll be reading articles along the lines of "Why the Vita failed".
The Vita is a capable gaming device but there are so many more options available to consumers nowadays. I know that Vita owners find it hard to see that fact but it is just that, a fact. The majority don't seem to want or care about having console style games that require physical controls and they certainly don't want to pay console pr...
Solid game albeit repetitive. If it had not been free on PS+ my son would given it a miss in his opinion.
I think the upcoming gen may be the last gen of gaming being the primary focus. All purpose devices will become the norm in 4-5 years.
@blackdeath
iPads are no longer numbered. Apple refers to them as the new iPad.
Zen pinball is the best you can get for consoles and portable devices.
Consumers will be spoilt for choice!
This game is fantastic and certainly a must for RPG fans.
Yeah. Just like God of War or Ratchet and Clank.
Honestly, good games are good games regardless of what platforms they are released on.
Ever since the Columbine incident the media has focused on the negative impact of gaming like clockwork every Xmas and April. I'm not saying gaming is responsible but there is more gaming could do to become less of a target. I mean, do we really need to be striving for ultra realism when it comes to depicting the graphic nature of violence in games?
With all the talk lately about violent video games I would have thought that would be obvious. You can't support a games have a positive influence unless you're also prepared to accept that they may have a negative influence.
You can't just present a 'games do good' argument without also accepting a 'games do bad' as well.
I'll buy the console or consoles that run the software I'm interested in.
This game is shaping up to be something incredible although I'm doubtful how well it will translate on current gen consoles.
What exactly are you basing this assumption on as the PS3 certainly didn't start off strong.
Maybe they disagreed because they don't believe its awsome.
Difference between you an me hicken is that I own both a 360 and PS3 so guess what, I get to play all the exclusives I want on both consoles.
As for your comment re: the games are coming...I'm confused as vita owners claim they are already here. Your comment also echos 2011 about how can anyone not buy a vita given what's being released in 2012...and look how that turned out.
If I'm a troll then what in hell does that make you?
So, you think they should remove media (movie, photo and music) playback, web browsing, etc?
Hmm...looks like the hype machine is swinging I to full gear again...SIXAXIS anyone?
Lets just wait and see how this translates into something tangible for gamers.
