I for one am a supporter of motion controls when paired with the right game. I've had countless hours of fun with my kids over the years playing games on EyeToy, Move and Kinect. Even the wife joins in!
Kinect for me is what the PSEye should have been as I was always disappointed by the lack of support the Eye received from Sony until they paired it with their Move controller. Hlwever, what both parties need is some really creative minds to drive development of games t...
Wow, seems like you're not allowed to buy kids games for kids. Kinect is ideally suited for kids and these type of games reflect that. I sure don't have a problem with that as watching my kids play is a blast.
@hicken:
You work in sales and you harp on about brainwashing? If that's not a case of the pot calling the kettle black then I don't know what is. All the major players use marketing to their advantage. I would have to say Apple would be the worst, especially their latest ad where they put down round ear buds. You know, the very ear buds they had given away with iPods for years.
Would have looked better if the sticks and buttons on the dual shock were white or clear like on the Vita.
Which company has fared worse this gen than last gen? Well, refer my response to Chicken above and you will see that only 1 company has lost market share compared with last gen.
So based on the counter starting from zero, MS has done exceedingly better this time round than they did with the original Xbox as they have seen their console market share increase from around 12.5% to 29.5%. Nintendo has fared even better increasing their console market share from 11.5% for the GameCube to 41% for the Wii. Finally, to date, Sony has been the only one to lose out as their market share has, to date, fallen from 76% (PS2) to around 29.5% (PS3).
I dare say th...
Mutilated is a bit strong as there is only one portable on that list worth mentioning sales wise this week.
Wow, if you wanna play the stupid game and compare sales for one week between a continent and a country, filter weekly sales on the VGCharts site for the 22-12-2012.
Its still gaming news and no worse than some of the other stories that are posted.
You are the biggest troll on this site and a closet fanboy so you calling anyone a fanboy or troll yourself is priceless.
@outside. How in hell does that comment make me a fanboy??? Its a fact. Ever since Sony cut the number of activated systems from 5 to 2 and introduced online passes it hit me in the pocket. I try to get gaming bargains when I can. Honestly, because you interpreted that comment as an attack maybe you're the fanboy here.
By the way...
I personally think its great as you can take it on holiday, hook it up to a TV and you have a smart TV and can play pretty decent games and lots of media. Great for kids! Its priced so attractively that I'll probably get one for use on the second TV.
I read it as feedback not complaints. Yet another post on N4G that misleads.
@king:
Again, your opinion again is full of assumptions and you present them as though they are fact. I've never once said I carry a SIXAXIS around, thats something you said I did. I do however use a SIXAXIS to game when I'm at home, mostly with my PS3. But so what if I did carry one around, would that be the end of the world or most inconvenient thing to have to do. Sure beats the Vita's built in controls.
As for having to carry around a charger for m...
@king. arguments? Please, post so all can see as it was more of a discussion around device capabilities and not an argument. Furthermore, it was 2 or 3 messages (from both of us) in the same thread 50 days ago.
Yet another generalisation. Already had G2 PM and admit he got it wrong with his claim.
You know, I'd even settle for native 720p @60fps, no jaggies and no drop in performance and quality when played in 3D.
8 is even on the low side for such a device.
Thing I'd love to see least next gen but will never happen...fanboyism. Enough is enough.
As much as I'm looking forward to all the official announcements I can wait and not get caught up in the hype.
One of the really great things these online services have achieved is to have changed general opinion on the whole digital distribution model. It works and file size is way less of an issue than it use to be.
Its a game and last I checked N4G meant News for Gamers. At least its not some bs flame bait article. By the way, its not a bad game for those quick bus or train trips.
