In what way? I could use a similar argument to claim that Uncharted 3 will outscore all of those 360 exclusives. Furthermore, if it's about sales, Forza & Gears won't outsell Gran Turismo 5.

Obviously, the reviews would mean very little (if there are any). The way you support your fans is by giving them what they want. Xillia did that.
Sounds like you need a PS3, bub. Otherwise, why gripe about a PlayStation exclusive being re-released in HD on other PlayStation platforms?
Actually, Sony losing Tekken exclusivity was far worse. Tekken was ALWAYS PlayStation-only (save for one GBA game). Dead or Alive didn't start as a Microsoft exclusive, as it was on the PS1 & Dreamcast before any Xbox came out.
I agree with one thing though, I think it isn't good for the industry to put all these games on multiple systems, but that's another topic for another day.

Selling 2 million (and exceeding expectations) is now "terrible"? I'd suggest you get in the know, you're unsure of what you're talking about.
Silver and white PS2's were eventually released in America, but it was pretty close to the end of that gen. I'm thinking this may be a similar case (if a white/silver are ever announced for the States).
Your comment is no less ridiculous than his (and also a lie, as PS3 gamers are obviously CoD, Killzone, & Resistance fans as well).
I didn't even know it was confirmed for the 360 (although, I'm it will be, unless Sony has worked out some exclusivity deal - not entirely impossible given that Tekken is a PlayStation-centric series).
Regardless, what you said is not entirely true of the 360 fan-base. Yes, there are less of them that play fighting games than on the PS3, but they certainly care for more than just Halo/Gears/CoD.
Excellent piece here! This year has been a great year for gamers, but it's the PS3 where the majority of my time has gone because the support for my tastes has been stronger. I'm not necessarily saying that Microsoft or Nintendo haven't done their piece, but it just hasn't been my particular cup of tea.
With Gears 3, Halo CE Anniversary, & Skyrim, my 360 is about to get much more playtime, however.
Would be nice if this came to America as well!
Most reviews did NOT call Crysis 2 the best looking console game. Killzone 3 had more reviews calling it that.
OT: Seems like a mistake to release this with little time to prepare and so close to Battlefield 3/Modern warfare 3. It may be slaughtered at retail.
The 360 has only outsold the PS3 in one region bro. Everywhere else, the PS3 has outsold it all year, long before the price cut.
