ON Topic: Seeing what this company has already done, I have no doubt in what they can achieve.
This is one of the few articles from TSA that I'm really scratching my head from. First, the end of the year already has Resistance 3, Twisted Metal, & Uncharted 3 with confirmed, solid release dates (all within 1 month of one another). Second, this doesn't include the awesome multiplatform titles like Rage, Skyrim, & Mass Effect 3.

Crysis 2 makes a great case for multiplatform development (although I'd suggest more time to cook next go around), but it's certainly not the best I've seen from consoles or PC. On console, games like Killzone 3 just look, overall, graphically superior. Crysis 2 has nearly every game beat on console beat in HDR lighting, but hardly anything else. I'm not sure such a thing would happen so soon (if at all), but if it were, that would be an exciting time (for me in particular), because Heavy Rain is my #1 title of all time.
Before popping champagne bottles however, I want to hear what's what from Sony and/or Quantic.
Really no surprise. Crysis 2 has some serious technical issues, some goes as far as game breaking at times. It makes a great case for multiplatform devs and the 360 as a whole, but it's still not as polished as Killzone 3.
Move-exclusive or Dualshock/Move compatible. Quantic's games will all be PlayStation exclusive this go around.

Guys, I wouldn't give this article much credit/thought. It's likely the same poster from VGC that posted this as a news article. It's troublemaking at it's finest, because not only have CVG not published a review (a review that he can access at least), but it's a 2-sentence article designed to do what it did, make people fight over what may not even be true.
Killzone 3 right now is overwhelmingly pegged as the best visuals on a console (read just about any review for that). For Crysis 2 to achieve such a status, it needs to be agreed upon by an overwhelming amount of people (again, like KZ2 & 3, Uncharted 2, & God of War III were).
Is it impossible, nope. Has it happened - not yet.
Only problem is, RAGE isn't open world. Also the 360 version hasn't been confirmed to be superior (in fact, things had to be cut back from the original vision of RAGE because of the 360's limited disc space).
We should all wait and not just jump to conclusions.

Interesting tidbit, in where Carmack admits that the PS3 will have "more peak power", but also says it'll be easier to exploit the 360's specs. Of course that's a 2006 article, but the consoles are obviously the same in specs as 5 years ago.
I have nothing against his feelings. However, if we're on the topic of what's "better" or not, I would like to see the 360 exclusives that outshine KZ2 (& 3), Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, & God of War III. Just about anywhere you go, most agree that the PS3 has the upper hand when speaking from a technical perspective (and has the games to back it up).

I'm actually up for new tech. Yes, the economy is still at a rough spot and graphics are now at a comfortable point in the gen, but with technology moving ever faster (and the PC moving as fast as it is), I'd welcome new tech around the Qtr 4 2013 threshold.
Hmmm, having a second look, it seems these screens are a video being played through the PS3 (the pause symbol on the bottom left corner of all the shots was the giveaway).
Not that it's a big deal, but I'd like to see actual 360 screenshots. Can't judge it in either direction based on this.
I agree that Killzone 3 looks substantially better, but at the same time, it's nice to see the 360 still very alive and kicking! While I think Gears 3 will top Crysis 2 on the system, this will be a nice addition to the 360's catalog of good looking titles.
I'm a strong supporter of KZ3 and the PS3 as a whole, but that 2005 E3 trailer has not been surpassed, not by any game this gen. Sure, there are aspects that the in-game stuff does better (such as lighting), but textures, polygon count, character models, and overall dynamics are MUCH more pronounced in the target render.
Perhaps the PS4 will have games to look/move like that, but even then it will be a tough one.
