Actually, what is yours? What does the 3DS have to do with what he said?
OT: PS4 is rockin' house, right now! It's like the Wii's launch all over again, but with even stronger numbers! Crazy!
While I don't think it will be generic or a ripoff, I agree that it will NOT define gaming this year. It will be a solid release among them, possibly even garner some GOTY nominations, if it matches the current buzz around it.
OT: This is a tough question. I don't think anyone one game, on its own, will define the year. There will be a combination of games and services that do it.
In the grand scheme of things, the PlayStation is, historically, a bigger brand in EU. It's just the beginning of what I believe will be an, overall, bloodbath in favor of the PS4.
I would ask you to explain how Sony fans were burned last gen, especially on the games front, but you've run out of the utensils needed to continue the fight. ;)
OT: The 8th gen is going to look very different than the 360 vs PS3. The PS4 is going to make this a pretty lop-sided affair.
Well, it wasn't like PS4s were purchased at a slower rate because Driveclub saw a delay. Forza 5 surely swayed very few, in fact. I'd rather it be polished and ready than rushed to meet a deadline that only the most partisan fans poked fun at.
An A-. Really good stuff released this year! However, there's slight room for improvement.
I believe he's saying the score fits the game, considering what it does for the PS4 and what it offers, out of the box, for a launch title.
If such, I agree. Quite an underrated (Meta) experience.
Might beat the PS4 how? They'd need both Japan and EU to do so. The PS3 even beat the 360, despite all of its early flaws (NONE of which plague the PS4). They have a strong chance of beating Sony in the US, but I don't imagine the situation being the same anywhere else.
Have to agree here. They seem so unsatisfied, yet were saying that 8GB would do. Just can't win for losing!
I don't believe it can. At least, no that I've heard.
Although I wasn't big on this game before (not really a fan of online-only), the more they show of it, the more interesting it looks.
My "post(s)"? No. That would be the first time I've expressed any issue with a fan-base here. It had zero to do with Sony, so I'm not sure why you even mentioned Sony "ponys".
It's interesting to note that if you give your opinion about something, you're seen as immature, but this guy enters the topic, clearly didn't read it, insults the site, and yet only gets disagrees. Doesn't make sense.
Agree with what? Unfounded griping? He lost credibility when he complained about something only to find out that , had he really looked, he would have seen Xbox games there.
Frankly, I get tired of all the whining from many Xbox people like they're owed something.
It isn't about unforeseen reasoning. Notice how you didn't get the same amount of disagrees when you elaborated on the original post? A matter of perspective. Even outside of the net, people could (and probably would) take a vague statement like: "PS4 is selling of hype" as something that minimizes just what a hot item it is. Again, matter of perspective.
OT: Not that this is shocking, but the amount of momentum in Sony's favor right now leads me to beli...
Except that you wouldn't find many vids of malfunctioning PS4s. Then again, I could make many more that show it's up and functioning. What would it prove? People aren't claiming MS has been dishonest JUST on the hardware failures, but with much of their reveals/news/handling regarding the X1 in general.
No, I don't remember a higher than 1% fail rate of DOA consoles. I remember a mere 1% fail rate of several issues, which INCLUDED a few DOA machines.
OT: As long as this doesn't become a huge issue like the RRoD, they should be able to wing it. As many have said, though, Microsoft isn't the greatest when it comes to hardware (although the original Xbox was a fairly reliable device).
Some people have no grasp of a simple concept. But then, they have the internet for free learning, they should us it. :)
OT: Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Pretty evident that the PS4 has outsold the X1, pretty much, everywhere at this point!
That same writer, from Digital Foundry:
http://oi43.tinypic.com/2dq...
"I do think Killzone: ShadowFall is the best looking launch title between the two, though, but Ryse is definitely second place for me."
I realize that this must have struck some nerve with you, but that DF writer has an account on Neogaf, which is dark10x, and the topic (Digital Foundry vs Ryse: Son o...
So it will be determined how well it will do based on its launch? With that thinking, many consoles before it should have failed there. Fortunately, it doesn't work that way.
OT: A Demon's Souls 2 would be an insta-buy, but with Yakuza starting things off, their should have a decent launch with plenty to follow. I know I'll be importing more JP games this gen than ever before!
