Overseas, they do (Ni No Kuni, Final Fantasy XIII & XIII-2, for instance). But I agree, wish they offered more (Uncharted, God of War, Killzone themed bundles would be killer)!
Humor me, what of it looks cheap?
You really need to let people have their opinions. So what if he thinks it will be GOTY? Shouldn't affect you at all.
OT: I'm speechless!
All three replies are irrelevant to what I'm saying. Beyond is offering something not in abundance on consoles - a fresh type of experience, if you will. It's also a new IP, which is what Sephris was saying consoles were lacking at the moment.
Frankly, I don't see the fascination of Assassin's Creed, but my opinion of it is not important when there is a market for that type of title.
In short, whether you prefer it or not is of no consequence,...
Possible, yes. Likely, I doubt it. To overthrow that type of game, you have to trump the selling point (twicth shooting). Until something else comes along that can manage the simple thrills of Call of Duty, powerful name or not, it won't be "dethroned".
In fairness, projects like The Last Of Us and Beyond: Two Souls are trying to keep things fresh (at least on PS3's end).
Nonetheless, by Sept, I will mainly be a PC gamer.
Indeed, but that's just what happens to any successful platform - it garners uncalled for "doom / gloom".
Fortunately for the PC, the world needs it, so it won't be going anywhere.
I'm doing one better - I'm in the process of buying a new PC:
i7 Quad Core
EVGA GeForce GTX 680
16GB DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD (likley with an SSD)
However, I'm also buying the next Xbox and PlayStation systems. If you have the money, you can't go wrong there.
If no one "really cared", they wouldn't have been asking for it.
I completely disagree on MGS3 vs MGS4, but that's for another topic.
Edit: Well, there's no way to gauge who cares and doesn't, but I'd be willing to bet people still care. Either way, the discussion is pointless, because it will never be on the 360.
Edit 2: I don't see any figures of speech. Bottom line, why continue discussing a meaningless t...
Kojima made it crystal clear that there will never be a 360 version. People just didn't pay attention.
OT: If true, late or not, time to go back to some Guns of the Patriots!
I'm getting it, regardless. I doubt this is the real deal, but I expect an unveiling for the actual unit fairly soon!
Silent Hill actually retains much of that survival horror feel with its latest iterations, it's just not with the Team Silent skin. That, however, is another topic for a different day.
As for this news, I'm not too thrilled either (survival horror is my favorite genre), but it's RE. I'll still give it a shot!
You're out of bubbles, so there won't be a response, but I can be humble and admit that they have, in fact, suffered losses.
As to whether or not they are in trouble financially, that's a horse of another color. You nor I know that situation in it's entirety, so that is merely speculation.
Sony didn't kill Sega's brand, Sega themselves did that.
The more you know.....
Really? Show us where the PlayStation brand recently lost 3 billion.
Overall, it may have lost money, but the division is currently Sony's profitable faucet.
A PC isn't a gaming console, no, but it IS a gaming platform.
It does seem like eliminating the PC as a gaming platform says that 360 / PC titles are all exclusive to the 360, which is absurd. I understand what you're saying that consoles and the PC are different, but they are ALL gaming platforms.
Couldn't reply above, but that needed to be addressed.
In both Ni No Kuni's and Gears of War's cases, that would be correct. Exclusive means just that, only on one. Gears of War is an Xbox 360 platform exclusive, not an exclusive title, and neither is Ni No Kuni. Of course it's arguing semantics, but Gears of War isn't the same as Halo: Reach, for example.
Still, the 360 library has plenty to boast about, and console exclusive or complete exclusive, it's been a Hell of a ride!
Even if you know that people were disappointed with the ending, it doesn't change the issue. The headline, even if it doesn't contain a spoiler, needs work. It either contains a spoiler or it is misleading, which should be altered regardless.
Oh come on, not everybody can stop at the drop of a hat to play the newest games.
I care for the game, and own it, but that doesn't mean that because I've yet to beat it, I'm at fault for someone who posts a spoiler in a headline. Besides, why should someone rush to beating this game in a day (or even a weekend) when not everybody has that kind of time?
No way around it, your point of view is condescending.
Doubt you'd be stepping around swearing if everyday was a fight for survival.
