Agreed. Just take a PC with a GTX 690 in it, just the 690 - no way anything from next gen consoles would top that. Though, you have to admire his enthusiasm.
PCs will always be more powerful and capable machines, but the article itself is still interesting and informative.
You really need to see the best of PC. It's not even a comparison.
Shame you get disagrees on N4G for making sense.

That's a pic I took of Crysis 2 on my PC with the BlackFire 2 Mod coupled with MaLDo's HD texture mod v2.0. Once console games come close to that, we can discuss what looks "next gen" or not. Right now, Halo 4 is a beautiful title, but don't stick it in a category that will only invite people to pi...
"And that matters because". Doesn't sound like reasonable curiosity to a simple opinion. Your entire attitude was ridiculous to begin with, pal.
My point was that I find console trailers push the aspects of visuals much more than PC titles. It doesn't "matter" either way, it's just an opinion based on observation.
Er, you said both, I gave an opinion on that. Shouldn't need explaining.
I think it happens much more with console titles.
With PC games or console games?
Agreed. Looking like an easy first day purchase!
Not bad at all, just different. It's immensely better than most of the recent SH titles.
The Room had an atmosphere about that fit the Silent Hill culture, despite the steps it took away from the traditions of the franchise. Doesn't make it a bad game, though.
Neither is The Last Guardian. Ueda said several times that TLG concludes the saga of the three titles.
On top of that, it, along with AGENT, have no set date in 2013. The Last Of Us, 3EYOND, & Watch Dogs are the ones to look for, and with anything new that might spur from the WiiU and whatever next gen console(s) launch next year.
What exactly are Sony missing out on, Chunky? If they are providing gamers new experiences (and finding new buyers in the process), I don't see how they are in a "terrible" position.
What's terrible is so-called gamers who care more about what company "x" sells vs the games they get to play.
How is this terrible news? Never mind, lack of bubbles won't fulfill my request for an answer. :D
And how can the holiday be juged on "losing ground" when it has yet to fully take off? Also, how is Sony losing any ground while being ahead weekly still?
Speaking truth. Seems like a basic understanding of game mechanics.
Which is irrelevant to what he's saying. Did you actually read the article?
Hmmm, seems you make far too many assumptions. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was also quite popular before Among Thieves came along. But then, I doubt feeding you the truth would matter.
God of War 1 was a hit, allowing God of War II to be successful. Not sure you really understood what he was saying. Nothing suggests that The Last Of Us won't sell plenty, and with the type of buzz it has, it's a given that it will be a success.
Seems you're running out of bubbles though. :O
Always love these pointless doom articles. Seems the authors never learn. :D
NEARLY every single game. Titles like Wipeout HD and GT5 are rendered in 1080p (though in Wipeout's case, it's sometimes rendering 1280x1080 instead of 1920x1080, but the res is still higher than 720p).
Regardless, I'm hoping more titles take advantage of 1080p on console next gen. Right now, the only place to truly get 1080p is PC.
