How many studios have Microsoft closed this gen? Lets be realistic here, Sony closed one studio and merged two others, all while buying two key ones (Sucker Punch / Media Molecule).
What franchise did Sony destroy? Zipper wasn't putting out quality, which was a fault of their own, not Sony's. None of Sony's other studios have closed and the closest thing to it was the merging of Liverpool and Evolution Studios.
I don't entirely agree that Microsoft destroyed RARE, but they certainly aren't like the RARE of old (the reason is anyone's guess).
You used your one bubble to troll and at that, didn't even understand the context of his post. Congratulations.
OT: That's an excellent question.
Not seeing the relevance here, but sure.
OT: This does seem like a non-newsworthy prediction at this point. Still, any next gen talk is great talk!
^ ^ Careful, you're being "senseless".

Anyway, each little tidbit on the game makes the wait that much more difficult.
Food for thought! Bubbles for you sir! ;)
Wonder how this fairs against the GTX 690.
Eh, PS1 & PS2 were priced just right at launch. The PS3 (and to a lesser extent, the PSP) was the only device they launched at a steep price.
A completely irrelevant (and inaccurate) post.
No, not kidding. What you may / may not have liked (and / or been surprised by) is irrelevant to what I said. There was plenty of content showing this gen still has life left in it.
PS3 continues to trek in the exclusives. It's crazy!
While I agree that new consoles (besides the Wii U) are likely for next year, I don't think this year's E3 proves such (especially since this year's E3 showed plenty of great content for current gen proving it is very much alive).
OT: Battlefield 4 could easily release as a dual gen title.
What makes you think the 690 won't last 4 years?
The 360 hasn't even been out 7 years and he claims it has for 8 (and emphasizes just how inaccurate he is by saying it in a second [though one-worded] sentence).
When I see a console version of Battlefield 3 that runs it at 60+fps and no screen-tearing + drop in texture quality, I'd be inclined to agree.
Some PC gamers may be be "elitist", but the difference in what those devices can do is night and day.
OT: Absolutely beautiful video! I imagine some PC games getting close to such quality in the not-too-distant future.
Agree there. Among driving / racing, there's no equal.
Edit: The disagrees are telling, because I was completely misunderstood. I look at humans and environments when judging the best looking games (in absolute). While this game certainly is in a class by itself for cars, it's not the best looking title I've seen overall (the original Crysis still takes that for me).
Either way, my PC should be able to max that without much hassle.
Eh, I wouldn't go that far. Top notch - no doubt, though.
Release date? This looks fantastic!
That same logic does NOT apply to exclusives. Had Mario been readily available on multiple systems not named Nintendo from the get-go, his impact wouldn't have been the same.
The simple answer to "do we need exclusives" in the context we're dealing with is yes. Otherwise, multiple devices are pointless.
Will this line of thinking, Amnesia: The Dark Descent needs co-op, pronto!
In all seriousness, the "scares" are what kept people coming back for more.
