The PS3 version of BlazBlue usually sells the best, but I wouldn't rule out other platforms.
Agreed. Still to this day, I haven't seen a more detailed account of what the inside of a vehicle looks like.
OT: That's kind of a surprise. To stay competitive, most racing / driving games of late at least offer the option.
Forza is definitely not the "go to" sim for comparison. GT is not only highly recommended by sim enthusiasts, but actual racers as well, just based on the feel of the cars.
That said, I'm thinking the PC version of Project CARS is going to be something very special!
Eh, I'd argue that Killzones 2 & 3 did it better, but whatev. Different strokes.
OT: I'd prefer they keep Gears a TPS ad make a new Unreal title.
Should be a rule for everybody. Sony and Microsoft aren't the only ones putting out trailers (in fact, they do it less than 3rd party developers).
OT: I agree, but rarely do games come out and look significantly worse than their advertising portrayed (although I will acknowledge that it does happen).
Outside of America, the 360 hasn't dominated anything. If nothing else, it has trailed the Wii and PS3 all over the world.
However, I agree that a TGS reveal is unlikely.
Socom isn't dead and Sony closed the studio and moved many of the members to other developers for multiple reasons. However, that's off-topic.
OT: From my experience (will get around to Amnesia this Fall), it's Siren: Blood Curse.
It isn't a "myth" when Carmack himself admitted that the PS3 actually is capable of putting out, though slightly, better performance than the 360 (the only other console he could have been talking about).
It also doesn't help your claim when the PS3 puts out industry leading titles when properly optimized.
As for RAGE itself, I picked it up on the 360 (I'm not one to make a huge deal over swapping discs - especially if it means better p...
Never said you did. In fact, I mentioned specific specs, which also isn't even the most "maxed out" PC hardware.
6x more powerful is definitely a step up, but on par with PC games - if it were to go against my specs of an i7, GTX 690, 16GB RAM, and 2 TB HDD, then I would say absolutely not.
Still, I don't care if it doesn't compete with those specs, I would just like a powerful console, which if these rumors prove true, won't be much of an issue.
You have no more bubbles, so i don't expect a response, but this was in relation to what you said below, in a different post.
Show me a Sony fan that started an issue here. Who cares what happens at other times in other topic, it's irrelevant here. The conversation isn't about Sony.
They may have more first party studios than Sony (not sure how accurate that is, actually), but with Sony's full line-up of 1st/2nd party studios and IPs, I don't think they're too concerned.
Regardless, one has to wonder why Sony continues to enter this conversation? It's like some people have a fear of Xbox ever being inferior to Sony in any form.
Love when people say nonsense like this. Microsoft closed more studios this gen than Sony, who closed one that wasn't carrying their weight and merged two others. Man's best friend isn't the dog, it's research.
OT: Good. The more studios, the better.
Actually, a new IP (or Killzone title) from Guerrilla Games is possible (seeing that it's a European show and they are a European dev).
Can always tell from a post like this who is emotionally affected. Since Sony is irrelevant to the conversation, you, in turn, look worse than he does.
Wipeout is owned by Sony. No point to hope for that.
OT: I sure hope not. As a poster above me said, multi-player should be an option, not a necessity or an exclusivity.
Heavy Rain is quite the experience. Perhaps he didn't like it, but if you're into an adventure game with a rich story and well developed, believable characters, I would give it a shot. It's pretty cheap these days too.
For me, I want a next gen console to show next gen visuals. Even though I've not seen as much out of the WiiU as I had previous new gen systems of the past, I'd like to see what it can do that current gen consoles cannot, on a visual scale.
Take Condemned: Criminal Origins as an example. When it launched on the 360, there was no question it was not only a next gen game, it truly couldn't be done on previous gen consoles. That's the only thing I feel the WiiU l...
We could argue all day about it, but most people into driving sims recommend GT over anything else. Our own opinions on it are irrelevant.
