Sony and Microsoft have always sold their systems at a loss to gain market share and have hoped to gain that money back from software and services. Even when the PS3 was released they were making something like a $200 loss on every unit, at that price.

If it were an easy thing then I would have liked to have seen it. Still, I'm playing this through with my old friends, that I played it with the first time round, so I'm not that bothered about it.
I think it's worth every penny. It's been so long since I played through the campaign for any of them that it's like falling in love all over again. Just it's 1080p 60fps, and a new engine on two. I took a quick look at Halo 4 last night and it looks amazing in 1080p. I really don't know how that game ran on 360. I've made comments before about it being a good thing that devs have been able to achieve the same on both systems in some games (e.g. GTA5) and have had a ton of disagrees.
