I loved it so much that as soon as I finished it I started it again. I hardly ever do that these days, especially with the huge backlog of games that I have.
I've just bought Alien Isolation in the hope that I'll get the same from that.

I always considered the Xbox to be Dreamcast's spiritual successor, especially when there had been talk of the Xbox playing Dreamcast games. A lot of Dreamcast devs went over to Xbox instead of PS2. Although, whenever I mention this I tend to get a lot of disagrees on here.
I like the Xbox UI. I prefer it to my PS4 because it breaks things up by category and I can pin items to the front. On my PS4 it's just a never ending stream of everything in one line. Don't get me wrong, the PS4 system works just fine but it could do with some refinement.

Couldn't agree more. Gone are the days where you knew a game was good just from the previews. These days there are far too many layers of smoke, mirrors and blind hype based on screenshots and videos that you simply have no idea what you're getting.

When Drive Club is the only viable choice for a racing game on PS4 then yes, people that have it will tend to love it. I can't help but think that if there were a GT game or GRID then DC would have been completely overlooked, save for it's beauty.

Trust me, the X1 is pretty much silent, even under load.
I own PS4, X1 and Wii U and the X1 is considerably quieter than the other two.
There are cabinets that don't fit an AV receiver, in fact, that's the case with many of them and it can be a bit of a mine field when buying one to make sure that a receiver will fit. A lot of them either don't have a slot large enough but most of the time the whole unit isn't deep enough. I found this recently when buying a new unit for myself. Most IKEA cabinets are particularly shallow if you want to put an AV receiver in them.

Although it is, indeed, that size for many reasons, including those that you mention; if MS has reduced the nm of the processors then it will use less power and in turn produce less heat, which would allow them to have a smaller housing with less cooling.

I agree too. Xbox is a great and very well rounded console. I enjoy playing on it as much as I do my PS4 and Wii U.
It actually has a bit more going for it over PS4 and Wii U because the media functionality is excellent. I don't think anyone could argue with that and it also shouldn't offend PS4 lovers because, after all, they bought it as a gaming only device and the media capabilities of X1 is irrelevant to them.
