If you get a single disagree then we can guess what kind of person clicked that button. ;)
Very good that Rockstar have achieved greatness on both platforms.
For me it has to be my Panasonic Q or PSX (not the PS1 but the PS2 media box) that was beautiful.
My runners up are the Panzer Dragoon Xbox, White Sega Saturn and I have to give a vote to the US SNES. I really liked the Hi-Saturn back in the day but it's really dated now and I never owned one.
Wow. This looks immense!
I really wasn't interested when it was first mentioned. I kind of assumed it would just be that the camera would be positioned at the players' head but they've actually put this together as a proper FPS. I'm really looking forward to playing through it now. It'll be a hugely different experience. I cannot wait!
Well done for steering a PS4 article to a console war debate. Why even bring the Xbox up?
Do you realise the paradox of your statement?

I was talking about the single player and my concern that the idea that Sony could be pushing for 1080p at all costs could be an issue in general. The MP runs at 1080p just fine so I really can't understand why you thought that part was relevant.
I'm not putting the PS4 down, I have one sitting under my TV. So, don't get upset that I'm saying something that could potentially be negative. I was just voicing a...
I have to say that I'm starting to think that Sony may be pushing for 1080p at any cost, even frame rate. It would kind of make sense when their fanbase rattles on about resolution being king and PS4 being sold on the fact that it out performs X1 with multiplats hitting 1080p more consistently. It puts a lot of pressure on Sony to maintain that image.
Resolution is very important but not at the cost of performance.
Even Digital Foundry said they couldn...

It's true, not all publishers use Microsoft's servers. The intention was that they would, and it was a requirement, but EA started removing their online components from games at the beginning of the 360's life, out of protest. Microsoft was forced to bow to the pressure and EA has used it's own servers ever since. It's one of the reasons why you always know that a big EA game released on Xbox is almost guaranteed to ha...
Companies are also unlikely to allow it because they found that last gen having loads of demos didn't really, positively, affect sales. That's why there hasn't been many so far this gen. Basically, they have statistics that show people aren't more likely to buy the game so why allow it? I think they actually found that people bought slightly less games because of it.
After all, if there's no option to try before you buy then the only way to try it IS to bu...

Android doesn't, directly, make a penny. It's open source.
Google makes money from it's services and advertising, which Android allows them to put in the hand of anyone that owns one of those devices. It's a tool.
Microsoft will be getting licensing fees for their patents on features within Android. All the mobile manufacturers have to pay to use patented features in their OS.
"The only difference is that PSN gets called out for it more often and Xbox Live gets a pass more often.. "
I really don't think that's the case. Could it be that it happens more often on PS4 and that's why you hear it more often? Unless you own both systems and therefore can have a real view on it rather than conjecture.
Since Xbox is the target of the vast majority of negative press I really don't see why anyone would cut them some...
Wow, that's possibly the most coherent comment I've read on here all day. Bubble up.
I don't understand why everyone gets in such a flap when Xbox is priced well for the consumer and feel the need to do some kind of damage control. There's no damage to begin with. It's just a good price.
It's great that prices are going down and it means that both consoles become more accessible to everyone. How is that not a good thing?
"They don't really need to lower the price. The PS4 is still selling incredibly well."
Good for Sony, but I'm sure everyone wants a better price on anything they buy. After all, Sony is 'for the players'. At least, based on the phrase, a lot of people round here do make out that Sony isn't in it for business at all.
I find it incredible that people say things like 'it's so obvious what they're trying to do.' YES! It is obvious! They're making the price competitive so that more people buy it. It's business and I don't understand what the hell is wrong with that to those people!
Microsoft comes out with X1 at a higher price than PS4 = Evil Microsoft
Microsoft lowers Xbox price and throws in great games = Evil Microsoft

I can't see a difference apart from colour & gamma which is irrelevant. I do wish these sites would actually ensure that both are calibrated correctly to give a fair representation. It would save on the crushed blacks comments which doesn't relate to the game but the settings on the console/capture device.
Then again, if you want a busy comments section, full of arguing and lots of clicks it's best to make sure that there is some kind of difference, even if yo...
I'm actually thinking about getting this. It would be my first CoD since MW2.
Anybody that owns a 4K screen should definitely not care because native 1080p will still need scaling to view on it and the distance between resolutions on this game is nowhere near the leap between 1080p and 4K.
That's why I am so not interested in owning a 4K screen this gen. Native res, or at least close to it, will always be the best to view at.
According to your disagrees you do not have more friends on Xbox.
The joys of N4G logic.
It would be very interesting if someone actually wrote a reason why they disagree with your statement that you have more friends on Xbox. It can't possibly involve logic.
If you haven't already, Wolfenstein is really worth a look. I loved that game and it just seemed to go on and on. I liked it so much that I started it from the beginning as soon as I was finished. I think it's an overlooked gem by many.
Play it on a high difficulty though.
Games on cassette tapes. That sucked. I'd spend 20 or 30 minutes waiting for a demo to load and then decide it was terrible in the first minute or two. Yet, I would still play it for an hour because I'd only have to wait another 30 minutes to play something else.
To be a gamer in the 80's was very inconvenient if you didn't own a cartridge system and most parents didn't want to give their kids something that was purely for games and so we often got a compu...
