Nowhere does it explicitly say that the game is free. It's just included in the price, which is discounted.

Ripped off CoD? The last time I checked Battlefield 2: Modern Combat came out two years before CoD4: Modern Warfare. The format for the series was set back then.
If anything CoD copied BF2. Even the moniker of "Modern Warfare" is strikingly similar to "Modern Combat". They just left out the 64 player servers, large maps and dozens of vehicles.

If that's all it would take to make a game that scores so highly, in comparison, then Activision have missed an opportunity. Someone should tell them.

That's not how the policy you refer to works. It applies to content and features, not graphics.
Is this not a case of high-end PC vs console? Also, as mentioned above, how do we know that the really bad video of a driving section is not PS3/360? The vehicle model in that part doesn't marry with those in any of the rest of the video.

I used the CoD shot that he was referencing - as that's what this thread is about - and the CoD2 shot that was the first one, that was specifically tagged as the 360 version, on Google images.

I too couldn't even consider buying a Battlefield game that isn't made by DICE.
This article slates BF4. I actually love the game. Yes, it has had issues, no one would deny that, but when it all comes together the experience is epic. For me at least, no other multplayer FPS comes close.
DICE needed more time. The issue is not with DICE but with EA pushing them to release when the game wasn't completely stable.

Nintendo is sitting on a huge pile of money. I think it's something like $11 billion.

Off topic but, I would love it if every user here had to select which current gen console they own or the one that they wish to buy. Then have an icon for PS4, Xbox One or Wii U next to their avatar.
